new tails, not Altezza or TYC

I got these a couple of days ago. I wanted to try a style besides the Altezza and TYC, because everyone gets them. Now I know some of you might say they look like crap, but it's my car. Just thought I post a couple of pictures and let you see them. Not much is done to the car. Tint and chrome fender lining done by previous owner, I do like them both (chrome fender lining for now). I have added the badge overlays, grill and these tails. Plan on new rims/exhaust and speaker upgrade, just short on cash. It's a 2003 with 45000 km on it now and I still have 3 months of manufacture warranty.

yep, course they might not look that bad if you cracked them open and either did some painting or some other minor mods to them.

I LIKE YOUR TAILLIGHTS! I have the same ones...thought they were pretty cool...until now...*sobs*

One thing that I did that makes them stand out a lot, change the clear reverse bulbs to blue ones that you can get at Advance. They are really bright and look great.

I like them. Just get rid of the fender lining.

I thought they were Altezza too, but that's probably just me being retarded. I think they're even tagged on my cardomain page as "Altezza"

So if someone could clear this up by telling us what Altezza's are, that'd be great! =D

Man I swear, by the time I get around to my appearance mods I'm gonna have to find completely new and different parts cuz everytime I turn around someone else gets the parts I wanted! Course if I won the lottery it'd be a different story...

Props on wanting to mod. I don't understand people's desire for new tails on the GA. The stockers look fantastic.

I'd insert the normal "clean ride" comment here, but I don't think so this time. I don't understand how one could clean the entire car, yet leave the exhaust tips out to rust away.....

Well for me to get new exhaust it would cost $1100 without installation, I want to do it, but I can't afford it right now.

The only way to get new and different parts is to either get them custom made by a professional or modify something on your own. A few of us have done this, it takes more time and money but the outcome is nice.

Which reminds me, I gotta stop being lazy.

Whoever told you that is insane. You can get cat-back exhaust installed, with stainless tips, at ANY halfway decent muffler shop for around <$500. Or, just have them replace the muffler/tips for around $200, or just tips for like $100.

Buy SLP for like $450 or whatever it is and install it yourself.

EDIT: I'm talking US dollars here, you're talking funny money, aren't you..... hmf.

Well I live in canada, in a small town, so there is a big difference. The only place I can get cat-back is where I work(canadian tire), no other place in town will get it. Not to mention the shop rate is $75 an hour around here, and I wouldn't want to install it myself, I would most likley do something wrong and cause more dammage or something.

And I realise my liscense plate number is in the 1st picture, I uploaded the one I didn't photoshop.
