Personally..... I'd be pissed when I found out the fenders get covered by stock body parts. Seems like a bone-headed move by AAS.

no, the fenders were designed to work with their skirts and other aftermerkat skirts

personally i hate the ribs, and if i had a GA, they would be the first thing to go

Why would they sell them individually then.... that's BS. That's like saying.... ok, their hood sticks out the front too far, but that's because it's supposed to match perfectly with their front bumper they offer.

Even if they were higher up, I don't like them much. Sorry.

i knew about the overlap when i got the fenders. i didnt care.

as far as far away shots....thats kinda funny. since the car has been sitting for 4 weeks my new optima redtop is dead. i now have the rest of the day to find a way of getting it started (jump it off my other car) and figure out if my alternator is dead too. this morning i jumped it and let it run for 1/2 hour. when i went to shut off the engine the voltage had dropped to 13 volts. now its at < 8 volts.

ill get pics as soon as i figure out the issue and wash the car.

I don't think the over lap looks that terrible, I think most of us notice it because we are looking for it. The average person will not notice something like that, i dont think. Are you going to do any lighting or anything behind it like another member on here did (I think GlisteningWhite)?

Dude.

Wash your car. LoL

Looks good. Cosign what everyone else says. I wonder what they'd look like on a car w/o the ribs though.

Doesnt do anything for the car imo. Im person i imagine id pick up the overlap immediately and it would ruin it. Wheres your inner fender?

I think I said this before, but I'd rather have the overlap of the ribs than to have the vent be like an inch away from the wheel arch.

thanks everyone. i knew these fenders would bring mixed results.

1) they actually dont really fit right. ive had tomassage them in there to get them in right. its like they used stock fenders, but then changed them just enough to require some modding. kinda wierd.

2) i have wanted the SCT kit for a while but for what this cost me i would have gotten the SCT kit but not painted. SCT kit would have cost me more, plus one of my stock fenders was bad.

3) im leaving my fender liners off until i know what im doing with my vents. right now im thinking about running turn singals into them so that they reflect off the vents.
