After alot of work, prep and anticipation, here is my 04 SC/T!

OK, after all the anticipation, I finally got a chance to snap some descent pics of the car. This project was alot of fun, and alot of work. I took more time than many people would. I removed the front and rear bumpers, moulded in the rear lip, bought/painted and installed the mirrors, etc. Still have a couple bugs to work out. The Borla now rubs the under side of the bumper, so I have to lower it 1/4" or so. It took a long time and alot of money, but overall I am very pleased with the kit.

As a side note, the 2 sided tape already on the kit was not sticky. My advice is to replace it all as I did. Ill get better pictures when I get it fully completed!

Thanks!

Thanks guys.

Im up to almost $5000 as it sits right now. Those mods will be after the car is payed off and I buy a bigger house, (about 5 years). As I said before this is going to be a LONG project. Ill work on the littler stuff right now exhaust tips, gauges, etc. Engine stuff will wait.

He's got the sc/t kit. That's mostly what this thread was about.

Not bad, you could have done alot of other things before you got the kit.

i REALLY like how that SCT kit looks. if i could afford it id have it too. how hard was it to get the rockers to match up? ive heard and seen pics shoing them not lining up with the door panels.

mod it at your own pace. dont let people tell you that youll grow out of it. i go through times when i say that im done with my car, but then i see pics of something on here that sparks my interest again. keep up the good work.

That usually applies to the 2 door GA's. I think it's a lot easier with the sedans.

The only problem I had with the rockers was the tape was weak (replaced it) and the clips under the car dont hold. All I did for that was drill some small holes and put 7mm screws through the rockers and into the body. I also had a problem with the borla hitting the rear bumper, but a local parts shop sold me some universal rubbers that fixed that problem. Overall the kit is very well made and bolts on perfect.
