Friend ran a 13.6 today
My friend has a plymouth duster, 3.0 v6 5-speed. All he has done is an intake, and muffler. He took the car to high school challange at maple grove (a weekend dedicated to high school students) and hooked up a freon injection into his intake. He texted me after his first run, and he ran a 13.6 at around 110. His second run he ran a 15.2 because he couldnt grab traction. Still waiting on the third run. I was blown away by the results, when he gets back ill try to get a picture of his time slips.

Yeah, i gotta see time slips at MINIMUM to believe that.
I can believe 15.2, i had a duster just like that one smoke me at the track, he was runnin 14.9's. He was totaly gutted though and i was only runin 15.6's at the time.

 I knew people would not believe it. My digital camera is in my locker at school right now, but ill defitintly get some pictures. You'll be shocked, everyone under estimates that car.

You have to understand what it takes to get a car to the 13's, specially a V6.
It takes alot more than a freon, muffler and intake.

Nope, pretty sure it was 1/4. I guess I'll find out when I get a chance to look at his slips. Like i said, i was blown away..and if it holds true (which im sure it will, he isnt one to bull****) i think you guys will be blown away also.

I'm not positive but at wal-mart they sell a/c recharge kits, doesnt that inject freon?

Oh, I havent seen this set-up...he is borrowing it from one of our friends that uses it on his eclipse. However they are getting it re-filled somhow, because he emptied the bottle before. A little off topic, but just curious...do you guys think it will damage the motor if used?

Dont know how it is up there , in Texas about 3yrs ago you just had to take this test and they give you a licence to buy the stuff.

I highly doubt my friend has a license for that,
he is just turning 18 here soon. I'm a little pissed that I had to work, and couldnt go to the track with them.

Pfff, that aint nutthin. I got a friend with a 1.8L Civic with Autozone floor mats, Jensen subwoofers, a Turbonator, and he sprays hair spray into his intake and runs low 11's.
