Now, now, now.....moderation my friend......one good polish before the summer and one before the winter. The real product tag team will be the pinnacle souvern layer topped over the poorboys.

Ummm... Those aren't swirls. The paint job in that picutre is 3 weeks old. Those are the natural spiderwebs you get with automotive paint in bright sunlight.

Nice try though...

edit: And if you don't believe me, check this post... and your reply.

A little tutorial on swirls

I was more talking about the shine and "wet look" of the door.... But yeah, it's got a bit of orange peel. Find me a GA out there that doesn't have it to some extent and I'll mail you a cookie.

A little tutorial on swirls
Thats micro-marring on your door and its not supposed to be there, i would have went back to the body shop and complained. It can be fixed/healed with the right polishes, techniques and tools. Most micro-marring and marring (technical term for swirls) is caused from improper washing. Even pro's have a real hard time washing without cuasing marring. There is no way to stop marring from happening or prevent it. As long as you use a good polish regimen and a good sealant/wax you can prevent alot of it but not totally.

If i where to do an ultimate detail on that door of yours i can garantee you will never be able to find any marring no matter how brite the light is. Once it gets washed however you will be able to see a few here and there. Its a constant battle.
