Hey word of advice to you. If you can cover the plate on your car when you take pictures. Its easy to run your plate online now days. Not saying that anybody on here would do that, but Mr Ginter, probably wouldn't want to be looked up. *wink* *wink*

doesnt really matter to me if i get looked up or not, ive had a total of 3 tickets for moving violations, 2 for speed and one for exhibition of acc. also they are taken care of so i dont have to worry about dog the bounty hunter coming after me....

and yah i said it was dirty. i have a bunch of stuff i have left to do. i had an ignition prob and it messed up my wires, i ordered the taylors from scoggin ****ey but couldnt get them in time so i had to use the borg warners. ill have the red ones back in soon.

also notice that my gt has no ribs? yah my bro took em off while i was on vacation. and the gt sideskirts. i have the se's on now, but im gonna change that, go back to the gt look.

so yah the reason i dont have the engine bay clean....umm i dont really have a good one. it wont do any good to clean it now cuz im going back home where there are more dirt roads than paved, so itll just add to aggrivation. ill get more pics soon though.

yah well thanks, they were rushed. ill get some better ones when i have more time and more effort to put in to kepping it clean. well ill clean the engine bay next time, the only prob is i have a p/s pump that likes to throw stuff out the top for some reason. and im just in the process of doing alot of other things. i could make other excuses but i wont. i still have to take some stuff off the car to make some more room.

Im going to guess performance wise, WAI, and full exhaust. Switch to a CAI, although there will be doubters, Im going to say that with the added heat from the headers, youll be better off with the filter isolated.

Well he has headers and msd coils also from what I can see. But hes always posting over on 60*v6 in different cam/head threads. So I was just wondering if he has any port work or anything; and he said hes doing a trans beef up right now so hes trying to support some power it seems. I also remember him having a big brake kit.

Like everyone else said, you need to clean your engine bay, and...well.....the whole car. Saying it drives on a dirt road and there is no point is just stone walling. If you deep cleaned the engine bay just once and then wiped it down with a wet (clean) rag once a week it would always look great plus it would be more enjoyable to work on and show off.

As far as pics go, try and get the whole car in the pic and not just a corner.

Why did your brother remove the ribs and side skirts? Why is he still living?

haha i agree, but im a very forgiving person, he wanted to get the *** body kit, but i wouldnt help him with it cuz i think its retarded. i like the gt look just like it is, and its low enough as it is, in lubbock there is so much construction and pot holes and speed bumps, id look like a ricer with the broken body kit

also upgrades, well yah the msd coils and complete exhaust, just got the headers and high flow cat. im lookin at an electric cutout also. borla cat back. taylor spiro plug wires 8.5mm(not installed yet). hypertech tstat 180*. AFPR from the 60* store(not installed yet). im building a beefed up tranny thats right, have to wait til jan to send my FD to EP for the LSD upgrade(wow that sounded funny, can someone say anacronym man?). i love transmissions and i like to rebuild as many gm's as i can. i got the one im workin on now from a bone yard, good condition with about 16k on it, so its in really good shape. itll be done by the end of jan. i may even switch to the underdrive gear/chain set for drags, either 3.63 or 3.91. i also have a higher stall converter, stock is like 1685 and i got 2385, so descent gains there, i could have gone to 2800, but i dont wanna go to much and hurt my car. i also have a trans cooler im gonna install some time this week hopefully. ill try to take pics and post up prices and part #s. and yes ill have the car clean also.

i dont have big brakes yet, but i am talkin to 01gagt about some stuff related to that. i want more perf so im lookin at cam right now, cant decide though on regrind or new, ben over at 60* has the stock cast cams now for you to buy for regrind and may possibly offer regrinds for them, so i might just do that. i am almost 100% gonna do the 3500 top end swap, with the 3400 uim, just cuz i like the way it looks. i have the dr speed stage 2 wai, but am prob gonna get the ms cai, looks better. i have the shp pcm 1.0 in right now, but i just got the PT in and am waiting for the approval from dhp to get the software and files. then ill start tuning.

i think the engine is ok for now, so when i get my new trans built ill work on tuning it better. then also in jan ill be doing the cam(hopefully) and the 3500 swap, plus caspers high speed fan switch install, possibly wide band o2(still lookin for a good one), electric cut out, i am lookin at swain tech coatings for my headers and offroad down pipe(no cat). also the big wire kit for the fuel pump from zzp. also im getting a 62 or 65mm tb from the 60* store in jan(if they are available), and maybe the crank pulley from ffp or ati, whichever i think it better at the time.

ill try to take as many pics as i can, but the forum only lets me put pics on here like up to 200k so thats not very big. also any slips i have, ill scan them in and let u know, or ill just type them out if yall trust me enough.

any other questions?

also if i forgot anything i also have a post of mods on the how much have u spent post on here. How much have you spent on your GA?

ok and almost forgot i have the next level front sway bar and am working on my poly end links right now from ES, they are a little too tall, so i have to trim the spacer a little, interior is still stock and will remain that way. the only thing is maybe the redline boots for ebrake and shifter. also i am smoothing out the switch bezels and the bezel around the stereo/ hvac controls. and painting them. bigger/better brakes soon i hope

Sounds like my car. Always something new, lately Ive been doing more repairs though

And if your looking for the 3500 parts check over the for sale threads on 60*v6, the sc 3400 monte carlo guy has a complete 3500 top end for like $400. Ben is actually holding it for him so if you wanted you could get some porting done on them.

And my caspers fan switch and 180* tstat should be here tomorow; atleast thats when its scheduled to be here. Hopefully itll put an end to my overheating problem.

Yea I know...try having a tired old engine with 132k on it that wasnt even maintained.Im sure alot of people would call me stupid for putting this much money into my old 3400, but for now its my first car and its a beater. Some day I plan to do a full "restoration" on it; which is sad for a car thats only 7 years old.

And Coupe you would prolly kill yourself if you saw my horrible paint .

Your gonna love your CFS.
Yea i know I cant wait. If it does solve my overheating problem, its gonna feel weird to actually be able to drive my car normally again haha.
