Late Night Photo-Op (56k go to Canada)

Yeah this is what happens when its 3am and Im awake...

For the record, didnt realize my already crappy digi cam was set on 1MP, whoops!

Also, the pictures have been lightly edited for color, saturation, brightness, etc and looked fine in the editing software, if not so much here ... well too bad, its 4 in the morning!

Apparently my paint isnt so bad...

Straight from the hood, no flash.

Tomarrow night Ill be retaking all of these in 2mp, and with steady hands, more than 20 shots (I took a total of 50, these are a sampling) had to be discarded due to my shaky hands.

Nice steelies hehe. You haven't had a chance to use them yet have you? I'm ready to take mine off of my gf's car, because its evident we arn't going to have any snow any time soon. Plus she's complaining about bad gas mileage because they are bigger than her stockers hehe.

Anyhow, nice shots!

BTW, 2mp? Man you need to upgrade.

The pics that show the light reflecting off the paint makes it seem as if your paint is "pitted" and "hazed" but it could just be from you useing 1mp.

I get it almost every day. "Jon, where did your rims go" "Jon why dont you have any hubcaps?" People dont understand winter packages I guess. Yeah they are just for the winter... but I kind of like them haha. Thats ok though, whats going on in the spring will compliment the lowered suspension (currently in my basement) quite nicely

Thanks. Actually Ive used them once, the week following thanksgiving, the following Friday actually we had a 14" snow fall. In fact I have a thread regarding said snow fall.

And yeah, I know... but its not in the budget right now because its not really abig deal to me.

Which picture? I did edit some of them for brightness, so that could be that mostly. I have all the originals still, so if you have a specific one I can post that up to get your input.

The paint is a touch "hazed" I beleive, it just doesnt have that luster it should, even with the fact it was waxed a month ago (roughly...) and just QD'd yesterday.

steelies are pimp, i have them too for the winter. Like you said, everyday i have someone ask me what i did to my rims or why i dont spend $20 on covers.

Actually your paint looks pretty good. It must have just been the resizing you did.
It appears that you have VERY minimal swirls, looks to be in great condition.

Just think of how much power you will have with extra weight of the steelies

I have a better idea

Leave the steelies on the front & put your rims back on the rear for the summer.
(Like the people who buy 2-rims & tires for the rear, & then try to buy the other 2 when they have the money.)

Actually the steelies and winter tires are lighter than the stock set up, and possibly even the summer shoes, but only time will tell.
