Personalized 97 GAGT coupe

Hey everyone, here are a few pics of my 97 GAGT coupe. So far it has custom painted interior, aftermarket deck, subwoofers, debagded, grill inserts, underbody neon, chopped resonators and mufflers, magnaflow quad exhaust, eibach lowering springs, angel eye fogs, various customgrandam.com decals, and loads more.

Not to shabby. I also like the sub covers, looks really good. However, your car doesnt even seem to sit that much lower with the eibachs.

Since i didnt get the car lowered until late october the weather didn't allow any good days to take new pictures so none of the ones posted above are lowered.

But here is what it looks like lowered. The drop was only 1.3 inches.

As for the floormats, i only bought them because my old ones were the thick gray ones and i wanted something red/black for the car shows. My friend is hooking me up with black and red PONTIAC mats this spring.

You should have just bought the plain black ones they sell at Autozone. 1.3" wouldnt be low enough for me, however it still looks much better then stock

Nice car man, real sharp in red. I wish mine had that effect but black doesnt quite stand out like that, but still I prefer the stealthy look. Im going to look into some lower springs that drop it about 1.6 and get a grill. Definitely some inspiration.

Your interior is very nice, but your exterior looks horrendous. Get some rims, some smaller tires, and a bodykit. Then you'll be talkin'. As for now...just no.

horrendous seems a like a bit of a strong word. Mind telling us what exactly is wrong with his exterior?

I would have to agree, I normally don't like the look of that generation of GA's but I like this one. Tints and different rims would be a plus as well as getting rid of the floor mats.

Because it's fun, I get comments and ideas, and there aren't many Grand Ams at car shows here in Minnesota so someone has to represent the GAGT. Also, my team from downtown all go.

"Your interior is very nice, but your exterior looks horrendous. Get some rims, some smaller tires, and a bodykit. Then you'll be talkin'. As for now...just no."

I'm sorry you feel that way. I personally don't like to brag but I have NEVER seen a more mint pre-99 GA in Minnesota. As for wheels I'm looking into getting Ace Zeus 18" silvers. An *** Ram Air hood and mid-size wing are also going on this spring. I'm not getting a body kit because this is my year-round car and I'm expecting to inherit my dad's Fiero in a year or two, and we all should know how bodykits and winter mix.

Thanks to everyone else who left me feedback!
