My weekend vehicle. 56K, die

Well, here is what I 'drive' on the weekends. Got 3.9 houra in her this weekend.

I know that Molson will like these shots

The great weather, going to the airport:

WMU PA-34 Seneca, one of 6 in our fleet:

More our of fleet. As you can tell, a lot of Cirrus'. There is still more on the North ramp (I am at South Ramp), and more in the air)

More of the fleet:

Last of the fleet:

There is 26 or so C172's that are parked on the other side of the airport also.

Checking the tin to see if we can fly it:

Not too sure if this is Duncan Aviations or Eatons jet:

Backseat of the Cirrus at approx 7000 feet:

Out right wing:

We had it down to 4 knots ground speed, but I didn't get that picture.

And to end the night off, I got to drive home, looking at this:

Fastest speed we hit was 200 knots groundspeed with a tailwind, which is roughly 230 mph and the slowest we hit was 4 knots groundspeed with a direct headwind, 100% flaps.

Ouch. I fly the SR20 (one of WMU's 28 in their fleet) anywhere from 0 (bad wx) to 3 times a week, ans if I am lucky, 4 times that week if the wx is great out and we feel like putting 2 lessons together.

Its a commercial pilot program, but the plan is to go into the Navy right out of college to fly for them. If that falls thought, right into commercial aviation as I will have a CRJ-200 rating by then.

WMU is also considering purchasing a VLJ (Very Light Jet) to give their students actual turbine time in addition to the CRJ-200 FTD (Flight Training Device).

Here is a CRJ-200 which I will be certified to fly in 2 years:

I thought it was Eatons jet, but it was coming from Duncan. Odd.

And possible congrats on the internship. I know that Duncan is hiring a lot of mechanics right now.

Awesome plan.

Just coming from a military voice, dont do it unless you really feel like it.

Whats wrong with the yoke? Other then N1281 (W31 or W33, I forgot), which sucks. Trim sticks for some reason.
