Hmmmm Cavy and Sunbird now its Cobalt and G5. Still boring and still the same car.

At least the Cavy and Sunbird looked a lil different.

But still overall, the G5 looks a lot better than the colbalt. But when I think about it, "sunbird" is about the way to acknowledge it, since the sunbird was a lightly restyled cavalier. The interior was a lot nicer on the interior, but honestly, the Cavy looked a lot better. The sunbird's lookd deformed. Thank god for the sunfire

when i first saw one i had read about the g5 on this board but didn't know that dealers had taken any deliveries yet.. but i saw a cobalt in the oncoming lane and as it passed a did a double take at the pontiac grill.. later that week i went to 2 pontiac dealers to see one up close but and didn't see any on thier lot.. but i do agree that the g5 looks better than the cobalt even if it is a rebadge (and has no sc option..)

Honestly I don't know what's dumber... the light restyle or the fact the so called "sport" division of GM doesn't have the highest performer available to the platform

And your grand am isnt boring? You didnt even get the GT.

These cars fill a price gap, and they do it extremly well. Supercharged Cobalt with the spoiler is one of the better looking cars under 30 grand. SS/SC Cobalt is more fun then ANY Grand Am.

Did I ever say that the GA wasnt boring?? I was just saying that GM still has the problem of rebadging the same exact cars. The main reason I dont like the cars is the fact that there isnt an ass end on them. They look like just a little bubble going down the road from the profile view. I have never liked the G6 outside look. The GA is by far better looking to me from the outside.

You dont think your cavy is a tad boring?

Guess we can agree to disagree. Ive just had alot better luck with my Cavy then I did with my GA..and cavy has 30k more miles. About the same speed. I like the look of GAGT and only z24 cavys. The 4 door ones were a bubble, i agree. I was able to get a 5 speed in my car too. In a GA no one would race me, at least now its fun to be neck and neck with all the other stock ricers.

what i dont get is how some of you can say one looks better than the other when the only difference is the grill.

Yea I agree. I personally like the look of both versions of the GA for sure.

I do like the Z24 cavys though. They have quite a bunch of go for a car that small.

Im actually hoping people will race me in about 3 weeks!!!

Because the pontiac grill looks better on the colbalt than the the "corsica style" front end. Also the back of the G5 looks better too, not crazy about the whole corvette thing

meh. if you say so. i dont think it makes that big of a difference. and you can get those non-corvette taillights on the cobalt sedans.

Early January, driving through indiana, i saw one, and now i realize it was a pontiac. I pointed it out too cuz i thought it was a Cobalt with Pontiac badges... but now it makes sense...
