1999 Grand Am Gt..wrecked $1600

Alright this is my buddies car...he wrecked it...so im trying to get rid of it for him...he doesnt want to part it out....just wants to get rid of it...im located 45 minutes south of st louis missouri....I am asking $1600 for the car for now.
It's got 112,000 miles on it, still runs.
16" alloys with good tires still
3.4L w/ Ram Air
4-speed auto
stock CD player/speakers
5/15% tinted windows

needs new: hood, front clip, head lights and fog lights, windshield, airbags, right side front fender, probably radiator.
front end damage only, everything from the A-pillars back is still in good shape
here are some pics

Part it out, you'll have a better chance to get all the money.

This car is definitely fixable. Anyone with time could fix it up for $2000-2500. (Used parts, not a body shop repair.) Too bad it's so far away from where I live.

Until the frame has been measured, and detailed inspection has been made, how can you determine it could be fixed up for $2,000 -$2,500? Pulling a frame is not cheap.

Whats the hassle of parting out?..keeping track of all the people that wanna buy parts equalling more than the car as a whole?

I def think that if he wants to go down to 1000 on it, then he should part it out, you would be suprised how quickly the parts will go and he will get at least that for all the parts plus any money made off rounding on shipping or what not

If he decides to part it out, I call dibs on the driver side power window/power door lock controls and the HVAC knobs. Just let me know.
