New Wheels!!!!

Ok, So I have mainly been concentrating on getting the engine parts all done and back together, but I have been doing research on rims and prices, it seemed like all the rims I liked were either discontinued, really expensive, or heavy. Anyways, I have been eyeing these rims for awhile but the cheapest I've seen them is like $309 a wheel. I called up tirerack since they have recently been discontinued and wanted to see how many they had. My sales specialist told me this was the last set they had, and then they gave me the price, I almost didn't believe it, I had to ask him like 3 times if the price was right. I absolutely love these rims and although they are lightweight, they aren't extremely light, but for the same weight or a couple lbs less than a stock combo, I can put down some serious rubber, oh price....got all four shipped to my house for $758.08

enough blabbering the wheels and specs

Weds Sports TC-005
SSF construction (same process SSR and RH uses)
light grey painted
17x8
+32 offset
weight (seen anywhere from 14.2-15.9, i'll get exact then they arrive)

SO HOT......

Silver Mustang with them in 18s

Will get official weight and pics when they arrive.....

Dont buy rims that have been discontinued!!!!!
I made that mistake and shattered a rim, due to a hole, and couldnt buy a new one b/c they were discontinued, so now im stuck w/ 3 rims that are completely useless.

Oh by the way I have 3 rims for sale $5 or best offer

Well lets hope I don't hit a pot hole, they are SSF though so they are pretty strong, plus i will be running 255/40/17 tires which are less than an inch smaller than a stock sidewall...

The 18s on the mustang look really small, that is the only downside to them that I see. Other then that, they are very nice...sort of similar to mine.

That is true but looking at his tires I would say my sidewall will me very similar if not a little smaller.......

I think the darker rims look smaller just because they blend with the tires better. Those wheels are really nice, I'd love to pick up a good set of forged wheels for that price!

They are here!! I'm a little dissapointed actually as weight of them turned up to me 15.9 but oh well, they will still be the same or a tiny lighter than a stock wheel/tire combo.....

Ok no more teasing......

There are more pics on my cardomain www.cardomain.com/id/kwhauck under my third alero (silver one) including pics of other new parts (pistons, seats, tb)

Not to jack the thread but you could do it up real racer style and throw two on the back and put hubs on the front. That lets everyone know you mean business.

Does the $758 price include what they are paying you to advertise their name on your wheels?
