the woofers your looking at are not "comp" grade. thats why i'd stick with the rms of 350 watts each.

caps are more for helping your lights not dim, and cause less strain to your electrical system. as far as bass hitting harder, i'm not 100% sure if thats true. i'd have to see it to believe it.

if your pushing under 1000 watts, you shouldnt need a cap. a good rule of thumb is 1 farad for every 1,000 watts. so if you had 4,000 watts, you'd want a 4 farad cap. other wise its just overkill.

my old crunch amp was badass, had that thing to 1/4ohm at least. was the one with the anodized blue ends. thing went through hell. i actually melted the main power trace on the circuit board(used a piece of 12ga for a fuse), soldered the trace back together and worked like a champ for many more years. crazy stuff

if your gonna get those mmats subs, that amp wont give them enough power to reach there full potential.

ya it will, they're only 500w max each, and that amp has 1100 max, and 250 rms at 2ohm if im correct so its close enough

ok, i think you misunderstood me. when i said 100 watts either way, i meant with both subs together. the subs are 350 rms each. were not going to talk about max anymore, just rms. so 350 rms each. you want 2. so your total rms is going to be right around 700 watts. the amp you want will put out 500 watts. so, your missing your mark by 200 watts. the when i told you 100 watts, i didnt mean each sub. 100 watts to miss the mark is really no big deal when your talking about a woofer with like a 750 watts or more rms. but if you missing 100 watts from a 350 watt sub, thats like missing 1/3 of your power.

so listen. with 2 subs you want to get a close to 700 watts rms as possible. if your between 600-800 watts, you should still be fine, but the closer you can get to 700 the better off your gonna be.

heres a really nice Diamond audio amp. 2 the 2 things that make it good for you is you can run it at 2 ohms to get 600 watts rms. or 1 ohm to get 800 watts rms. so if 600 isnt making the cut, kick it up to 800. also Diamond makes good stuff. and it comes with a bass remote, which is one thing i love.
