since you are using fbody caliper brackets, cant you upgrde to a larger caliper if the upgrade is already offered for the fbody?

Stock master cylinder has no problems at all. My pedal is still very firm, yet if you stab the brake pedal, your going out the windshield. Stock brakes just don't hold a candle to this setup.

Uh did you paint the rotor? You may want to take your brake pads out and clean them after you drive it. It may cause pad glazing. If there not then disregard my post.

The rotors are not painted...........there EBC slotted/dimpled rotors that come coated that way, but once you use them...........the black in the pad area comes off. Heres a pic after a day driving it.

So a few questions. I have everything but the rotors right now....
I am ordering some R1 concepts and they want specific details on the rotors i want. i understand i need " 00-05 Impala rotors (front)" but what specifics do i tell them or if anyone has ordered them what did you say.

also i know people have verified the rims fitting but has anyone verified the chrometcks or will i need to swap them during winter?

thanks
Boost

the calipers listed at PYFC above will not work without larger rotors aswell as they get spaced out for the new rotors

im trying to get measurements on a corvette master cylinder and a few others currently to see if there would be any benifit, the larger calipers should actually use a larger MC but we'll see what i can come up with i guess....

anyone know of anyplace that sells two peice w-body rotors? trying to decrease weight as much as possible...

dont forget that the fluid is one of the most important things here guys, a good fluid can greatly increase pedal feel and response

still looking for those $100 calipers... who the hell had those?

I would just say 00-05 impala front rotors. OEM wheels with this brake upgrade is not a great idea. It may fit but it would be to close for my comfort.

the $100 calipers are from auto zone.

and dont forget that fbody fromt rotors will work as well, so the baer two piece rotors should work.

I was also thinking about the adaptors that allow us camaro peeps to go with the 13" rotors, and as long as you guys can find 13" rotors and you have room, it should work. anyone wanna be the ginnea pig? i would if i still had my GA.

Will the Z06 caliper mod fit on my '99 GAGT stock 16's (not crome, 5-spoke)?

^its not looking like it. you could get the 16" GP rims, but it would just be better to spend the money on aftermarket ones.
