Even traveling at highway speeds, its fast enough for the spoiler to have an effect on the airflow, it doesnt take much speed for aerodynamics to come into play.

I agree however, that they are purely for looks on most, if not all cars bought that are not intended for racing.

You still didnt counter his three other really valid points. Thats ok though just keep trying to convince me I dont need an armrest.
I put a sedan arm rest into my brother SS S/C in about 20 mins time.

I'm a big guy too, dont use an armrest, big deal. I can hold my self up by my own power, thanks. Like I said, the arm rest as a breaking point thing is stupid. It's an option on the interior of the base model, which is exactly the same. Bet you cant guess how hard it is to install! At the dealer I probobly installed and/or removed 30 or so on all different trim models. If you need an armrest, put one in! But dont let it keep you from even considering a very decent platform all together.

I've responded to the 6-speed thing already. I get average 26 mpg highway and I very regularly pass 100mph on the way to work and back. Too often actually heh. I ran a 14.7 bone stock, full tank, and have done a little over 140 before I ran out of highway with plenty left to go. It's all about gear ratios.

And the delta platform isnt the only to not offer navigation, believe it or not.

My main reason for not liking the small cars is that Im 6'6 and I have an inseam of 38". Its just a PITA to get in them. With my GA I have just enough room to make myself comfortable.

I like what GM did with the SS for sure. I mean they offered a really high performance small car that obviously has a market for it. Its a good looking car too.

Just not for me. Ive owned two lower end cars (base sunbird and base lumina) and will never go back to a base model again. I hope you get what I mean by base.
