Something like this I gues is what would be needed, or is this something that any tie/wheel place should have?
http://www.optionimports.com/h-r-spacer.html Tirerack does not sell wheel spacers, as I just recieved an email from them. Can any one comfirm my question about about the spacers correcting the 45mm offset? |

Id try to find a friend that has the same off set and see if they will let you put the rims on your car to check them out. Im guessing itll be pretty tight.
They do look good but pretty expensive for sure. |

I just need to know if my thinking about offset is correct. If so, then a 5mm spacer would make the offset 40... correcting the offset problem, so... the wheels would fit properly. |

Oh yea that would work.
Then you have to worry about the stud not being long enough though. |

While true, its only 5mm, but it is a concern, however, they make longer studs do they not?

I cant find any contact info for them.
Im starting to wonder if another wheel company makes the Moda wheels... as I cannot find a website for them either. I might just have to find a few wheels shops around where I live and stop in and see what they knw about them, if anything.... Last edited by Mirage85; 03-19-2007 at 08:03 AM. |

CONTACT
Phone 877.832.8209 (toll-free) Fax 770.967.9866 BBS of America, Inc. 5320 BBS Drive Braselton, GA 30517 We are located next to the Road Atlanta Racetrack. sales@bbs-usa.com oem@bbs-usa.com racing@bbs-usa.com I sent an email to all 3 addresses, I couldnt find anything about Moda on their site, and any searches I ran came back in another language, so we will see what kind of a response I get. Perhaps if more people email them, it will get them to consider a wheel size perfect for our cars, since the wheels havent been released yet, there is a slim chance. However, there is always a chance they intend to make the wheels just as we need, Guess I will have to await their response. I also linked them to this thread to check out interest. As I already said, I've seen people on here that have used 45mm offset wheels. Mine are 42mm. 3mm is not that big a difference. Whether or not you rub will depend on a lot of things like what size tires you use and if the car is lowered or not.
You will not know if they will rub or not until you get them and test fit them on the car. It's always best not to use spacers if you don't have too. If you do need spacers though you'll probably only need a 5 or 10mm one. You should use longer wheel studs with them to get full engagement with the lug nuts. And yes of course they make longer wheel studs for our car. They are pretty much universal, and come in a bunch of different lengths. You can even change the thread if you feel like it as long as you get lug nuts that match.

So my thinking is correct then about the offset, no one seems to have answered that question directly, that adding a 5mm spacer, actually subtracts from the offset, making 45mm offset wheels 40mm offset? |

Looks like ASA makes them after all.... interesting, differencenter cap, same wheel. I am awaiting a resonse from them now, as for spacers, something like this is what Im after? then when I get the tires mounted to the wheels and ballanced, the shop should have longer studs, I hope, I will have to find out in advance. I have time to worry about it, as these wheels arent out yet, and may actually never come out from the sounds of things....
