Lowered and cleaned up

Cleaned up a bit
Well I decided to go for a different look and took my windshield banner and side stickers off.

I just put Intrax lowering springs on last weekend so it is now lowered 1.7 inches. I know some people will still hate on the car cuz of the orange all over, I know theres a lot, but i love it. So heres some pics, I hope you enjoy.

Before with stickers and no drop

After

Put orange underbody neons on last weekend also

I'm sorry, but these pictures don't show anything. Why did you take pictures of the car from 33 feet away if the main purpose of this thread is to show the results of the drop? I nice side shot from close (showing front AND rear) would be great.

+2 for headlights and drop
-2 for a little too much orange & Grand Am banner

Edit: didn't read that you took the banner off.

agree, not sure if it is gone yet, but the grand am banner needs to go something fierce. Also, the orange vent vinyl next to the fog lights is overdone. Other than that the orange and drop looks good.

The orange works with black. It wouldn't on any other color. Looks much better with the drop done and the stickers gone.

Thats all that matters is that you like it.

Personally, Im not a fan of the drop, know everyone else likes it, but Its one mod I can say I will never do, to this car anyway.

I like the orange on it, breaks up the black some. I put red/silver pin strips on my black gagt to break up the black some and I love it. Just something different you dont see on all the cars, and as long as you like it, thats what matters.

Not a fan of the Grand Am o nthe windshield, and the Pontiac on the side windows, but you removed them, the door handles aren't that great either... but they arent that bad.

If you took the orange off the handles, and off the vents in the front, then all your orange would be concentrated at one level on the car, right around the center, I think that would look better. You can really see what I maen in teh 4th pic down.

Ditch the orange in the vents on the front and the handle overlays. The orange trim overlays could even go but they aren't as bad. If orange is what you want, I'd get the rally stripes on the hood and trunk like the old camaros had. That looks dope on white or black cars (especially since you have the sc/t hood). Dropping it and taking off the windshield banner certainly helped too.

Well the car may look stock but its dropped, its a 99 so it didnt just come with the sc/t stuff that was all bought by me. I have a cold air intake and mms pcm. And it came with aluminum wheels. Ive put tons of money in it to make it look this way, or else itd just be a plane jane black grand am gt with no orange. I think the orange sets me apart from any other black grand am, thats why i like it. Thanks for the comments, i expected some people to not like the orange. And about takine pictures of my car 33 feet away, it was like 10 feet, and its to have a scenic picture, any one can just snap pictures, thats why i took the pictures with the pop can, to show the drop.

And the windshield banner is gone, thats the main reason i took the pictures.

Also not to mention black headlights housings, black tyc taillights, 6000k hid headlights, hella angel eye fog lights. And inside the car, visor screens, headrest screens, 7 inch flip out, orange neons in hood, under dash in the trunk. And a system that can do 145+ db. I think ive done more than a lot of people with grand ams.

Keep in mind, this thread isnt to try and prove who has the bigger balls so to speak. I think if you would take the door handle overlays off, it would improve the look a LOT. Glad you took off the window banner and side sticker. Looks pretty good other then what i already stated.

PS- Pop FTL, Soda FTW. It seems like every area has its own word for it

Edit: debadge it too.

, you people in Albany say pop too? I thought that was only a buffalo thing.
as far as your car goes, i dont think the orange kills the look of your car but i also dont think it really adds to the look of your car. But if your goal is to be different, which is what it sounds like, i guess the orange def. accomplishes that.
