sorry guys, i forgot about coming here, im used to just going to aleromod, bad news, the sound clip i did doesnt load onto my computer.

But i love the exhaust, its not raspy at all, its a lower, deep sound. It is loud on the highway too, which is good and bad, some exhaust are quiet on highways, but this one stays at the same level the whole time. I love it though, i cant wait to get headers and make this car sound A LOT better.

Wish this came out earlier when I had my grand am. I loved my slp though.

To anyone who has this, peel off that damn ugly yellow tape around the tips

It will sound the same on an alero as it would on a GA.

he has asserted his dominance over competing males with the loud masculine sound form his exaust system, Females searching for a potential mate will be driven away by weaker exaust systems and attracted to his SLP.

Sorry, but im just on aleromod all the time, i dont remember to come here. so if you guys have a question, come to aleromod and post something OR email me at billytheman1188@yahoo.com, MAKE SURE YOU MAKE THE TITLE OF THE EMAIL "GRANDAMGT PERSON" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, MAKE IT IN CAPS SO I CAN SEE IT, CAUSE I GET A LOT OF JUNK MAIL, MAKE SURE THE TITLE STANDS OUT.

heres a sound clip of my car......
its the 3.4, its a bad clip, but its better than nothing.

and yes, take off that yellow tape if you get this, it looks a lot better with it off. haha

let me tell you guys, that when its warm outside (above 50-55 degrees) the car sounds meaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. Its loud as hell in lower RPMs when its that warm. When its cold, its load when you step on it, but in lower RPMs it has a low tone. The exhaust is loud on highways, but i dont care, its not too loud. for the price, you cant beat it, even if the thing does rust out in 2 yrs, buy it again, it would be cheaper for 2 of these exhausts than it is for 1 borla one. a little more for 2 pacesetters than 1 slp, but ive heard that SLP will rust out in about 2 years. idk, maybe not, but ive heard several people tell me that.

SO OVERALL I GIVE THIS EXHAUST AN A+ RATING, THE PRICE, THE SOUND, THE PERFORMANCE ARE ALL GREAT!!! GET IT!!!

It looks similar to the SLP, ther are a few differences, But I bet it sounds dang close the same as the SLP. Especially for the price, the muffler is probably cheap construction and is nice and loud, but has a loud drone. I replaced my SLP muffler with magna flow and the drone cut in about half, but at the same time, I lost a little but of sound on the outside, but not very much. I love the setup I have now. One thing I dont like about teh pace setter is that if you want to run different tips, youll need to have someone bend you up some piping from the muffler to the tips, but no biggy I guess.

yea, i wish i could change the tips, but they are fine. The yellow tape is gay as hell and makes it look a lot worse, so i just peeled it off and it actually made it look a lot better.

why bend new pipes to the tips? Just get a muffler of about the same size that's single in/dual out and put her together.

Because thats an extra $100 expense that would be pointless to make.... even if you buy a new muffler, your still going to need those pipes made from the muffler to the tips....

Im not seeing your logic at all here...

Sounds alright. My SLP and S&S sounded like **** until it warmed up. Seriously sounded like a whole different exhaust after the first 6 minutes of running.

?

buy pacesetters exhaust
find a muffler of the same size which you like the sound of
attatch said muffler to the pacesetter pipes
drive

that seems pretty logical. doesn't it?

Not really, if you read what anyone typed, they were concerned about swaping tips, not the muffler, so no, it doesnt sound logical at all....
