The Absorber

Great working product. Much better than any towel or shammy (sp?). Got it at Walmart for $8.

It's a Polyvinyl alcohol rag that just sucks up the water. If it gets real wet, just ring it out and it works like it is perfectly dry. If it gets a little dirty, just throw it in the washing machine. It also works great if you aren't drying your whole car but just want to get up some water spots.

I hated those things, they never worked for me. Always left water spots and crap. I use a real chamois now and have for years and love them. I also think the Absorber is what gave me all the swirl marks on my old car that I like to never got out.

I love my absorber. I am scared to death of the California Blade though. With my luck, I would catch something under it and scratch my paint. I swear my cars exterior is cursed.

I use the water blade and the absorber. You just need to make sure you do a good job washing and rinsing your car.

still, I'm not a big fan of the blade though I have used my windsheild wipers before in a pince. Don't ask

I bought it some time ago but have yet to use it. Rain is what is stopping me.

I don't like the Absorber because it tends to "stick" to the car too much instead of gliding on it smoothly.

SC/TGrandAm and Lgkaos, was the absorber damp before you used it? If it was not, that may be your problem.

Used the Absorber and it works great. Not one water spot on the paint. It takes a while though to get rid of all the water. But it does what it claims and does it well. So the California Blade with the Absorber would be a great combo.

Even got a trail size version of the glosser to try out. It's a microfiber cleaning wipe with wax in it. For those quick details where ever you are. Got to see how that works.

Very good product!

yep it was damp plus I always wash out my chamois before I use them so it was probably more than damp.

I used the Absorber but stopped. I hand wax my car and I know when the wax is gone . Well, it seemed like the absorber was absorbing the dam wax too. That's my own theory.

thats only cause either you have no/very little wax, or your clear coat's not like it used to be...iv never had a problem w/ an absorber unless im dryin a car w/ no wax on it..

I don't wax my car, so no problems here with that... but you do know that wax only last for a few washes before it needs re-applied anyway....
