As for the lights, when I can afford stuff again, Ill get some. but stock will have to do for now.
Calm down skippy. It was a general statement about dealers, not your situation. Besides I doubt he had it on speaker phone. They're still getting their money one way or another regardless of what they tell you. But it's easier to make a sale if they make you think you 'beat the dealership'.
You got a great deal. Just don't think you're the only person they make those exceptions for is all I'm saying.

Im sure Im not the only one they made the exceptions for, but seeing as how I was buying an 05 they had on the lot for a year, that really helped my situation. As for them getting money, of course they are getting money, the discounts i got all come out of GM's pockets, not the dealers.

Before I told them i got the supplier discount, and before I knew of the other discounts, I was going to get some free mudflaps and various other things, but as soon as i got the discounts, they took that stuff out of the deal, claiming, oh, we arent making money on this car now. I was like, BS your not making money. Wish there was another dealer with the same thing on the lot, I would went to them, but when its the only one left in god knows how big of an area, they can pull what ever BS they want on you. Oh well, I saved more than enough for the flaps, and Im now glad I didnt get them installed anyway.

Well I got around to waching it, and took some pics at a better angle, but the lighting is crappy from sun angle, but I have limited space at the moment.

I ordered some customcargrills and some new taillights, so I will get some pics up once these are installed.

After a few months of searching and having a wheel place in Ohio help me, they tracked down a complete set of 4 brand new perfect condition 077's in the 5x115 bolt pattern. Cant wait to put these things on over Memorial day weekend.

Youre going to need springs w/ those badboys too. Polished or chrome? If theyre chrome...sweet. If polished.... sweet too...but good luck. Polished is a bitch and a half to keep clean.

Chrome of course. Im not going to lower the car, I wont be able to pull in my driveway, I already scrape the front valance as it is.

JDWheels.com

Supposedly the last set in the country in 18" chrome 5x115. They gathered up lonely ones from across the US to make a complete set for me... so there may be a few left out there... but its pretty fitting, I got one of, if not the the last brand new gagt in the country, now i got one of if not the last set of 077's in the country for it.

Either park it on the street or get a concrete mixer to help ease the steepness of your driveway. Unless you dont mind the stilt look...

I don't think my land lord would appriciate me doing that... plus... your not allowed to build out on the street. Its poor cheap construction at its finest.

Anyway.. Im looking for a new job in VA so I can be with the woman, get married, and buy or build a house, so I will have to see where I will be living in a few months, perhaps I will lower it then, but for now, the stock height is fine. From other pics of seen with cars on 18"s and stock springs, they didnt look bad in my opinion, so I will just have to wait and see how it looks once I get them bolted on...

I think a black car can pull off the stock height with rims best. The black tires, black wheel wells, and the black body kind of clash together making it not look so bad.
