Then you found lucky people.

04s = $17.5k - 20k
05s = $21.5k - 23.5k
06s = $24.5k - 26.5k <-- these cars will rot for a year, makes absolutely no financial sense to buy a used one at this price considering you still have to pay TTL&R and get a higher finance rate since it is used.

How are you paying only $90 for insurance?

Is it a second car? That would do it. his state / area might be cheaper. Its certainly not his age at 22, he has until 24 or 25 depending on the insurance carrier for age to decrease his policy.

Kinda hard considering the Monaro/GTO was never offered in white.

Just saw this thread... congrats. Don't bother with an intake. They don't give any HP gains and anyone who claims 15HP is FOS! another don't is DON'T tint your tails!!!!!! DO NOT DO IT!!!! I've seen them in person and they look like the grains I order my sesame chicken with!!! If you can find 06 tails, then buy them. Price has gone up from $200 to over $300 for tail lights and from $190 to $300-$400 for the Sport appearance grills.

$17.5 for an '04 huh?

A dealership offered me about 17.5 last time I checked for the G6... are the GTO's you saw for this price like... 50,000mile GTO's or decent ones?

there are '04's around here in the 16-17 range.

on a side note: DONT GIMP OUT ON THE TAILS! either get the holden ones or the 06 ones or dont do anything. tint looks horrible on those cars, and the altezza ones are super cheap.
oem or bust

He gave you a range. 04's going for 17.5 are obviously going to be a little more used than the ones going on the higher end of the spectrum.

What do you think of getting the reflective white inlays for the front and rear arrowheads from grafxwerks? I kind of wanted to do a white/black theme but then again the black chrome also caught my eye. What color do you guys think? Im also getting the 3rd brake light "GTO".

It's not a Grand Am, don't do Grand Am mods.

The arrowheads I can see, but not the third brake light overlay please..super cheese.

Meh, I don't know about white overlays...black chrome might be your best bet; keep in mind you do have red tail lights (or are you getting 06's? there are too many GTO threads on here for me to remember who is doing what ) so the arrow head might not be bad how it is. If you're going for the blackout look (which would be hot), go with black chrome, don't do the contrast thing on a GTO, it's too played out.

Yeah I was leaning towards the black chrome for the two arrowheads. I would love to get the 06 taillights they look 10x better than the 04's.

Heres the rims I want:
