if roofs dont fly off and engines dont catch fire i think this will restore some pride in GM. especially considering how much peolple like the Z06 and that they dont have any other cars that can really compete with ferraris, kids can kind of look up to this car like they do lambos or whatever. as for the name, stingray might be cool but all the others are not, besides the blue devil.

I'm thinking they are going to call it the SS to stay within their naming system, but I also think it's hard to say- the whole project is on a very need to know basis, and unless you're an engineer or Bob Lutz, GM's stance is that you don't need to know. I always ask my dad about this car, and he is very vague about it, not because he doesn't want to tell me, but because no one at GM knows much about it.

yeah the SS would make the most sense with all the other SS'sss in their lineup but i think they have to name it something really cool. Z09 is just lame.
