It is what it is. I don't pull any punches. Ford should paint the mirrors on the mustang and OFFER A FRIGGEN LX 4.6 and stop screwing everyone on a special edition for real horsepower.
FORD BLEW IT BY NOT OFFERING A STRIPPED (BY TODAYS STANDARDS) V8 MUSTANG FORD BLEW IT BY NOT CONTINUING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A T-BIRD....POSSIBLY OFF A SHORTENED MUSTANG PLATFORM (THE CAPACITY TO BUILD MORE CARS IS AT THAT FACTORY). FORD BLEW IT BY LETTING THE TAURUS/RANGER/WINDSTAR/CROWN VIC PLATFORMS AGE INTO IRRELEVANCE AND THEN WANT TO DO NOTHING BUT KILL THEM OFF AND REPLACE THEM WITH 500...ERR NEW TAURUS DERIVATIVES.....BUT ALAN IS STRAIGHTENING THEM OUT ON THAT...HENCE NO MORE 500....TAURUS IS BACK!!! GM IS GONNA BLOW IT BY OVERLOADING THE CAMARO WITH EQUIPMENT AND BLOATING THE PRICE. GM IS ALSO GONNA BLOW IT BY NOT OFFING A MONTE CARLO AND A BIGGER ALTERNATIVE TO THE CAMARO AS A 2 DOOR IMPALA. NOTHING BEATS A Z06 DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR...SAYS THE FORDMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Offering a "racing edition" camaro would be sweet too... no A/C, no stereo, bare bones cloth interior, and the biggest V8 available strapped to a 6speed. Make some panels carbon fiber, too.

Chevy should offer a POWERFUL V8 base car/ stripper/ racer with none of the above equipment....WITH A STRIPPER KIND OF PRICE!!!! And then offer options ala carte, none of this option package b.s....save that for the other trim levels. And not do what they did last time and charge more for taking equipment away. I disagree on the carbon fiber panels. I am worried about the IRS driving the price too high. On a ponycar cost is paramount. And don't say "racing edition"......it just sounds like it would cost more money for less equipment on the car....you giving GM ideas on a stripped V8 camaro that they can sell for $35,000...GASP
