This was setup by the guy who I bought the car from. All I know is there is one wire in the driver's door, and it goes straight to just the 4x6. There's another that comes out of the tweeter, but just ends with it's end taped. Dunno about the passenger side, haven't opened that up yet.

Seriously, though, anyone have a pic or something of what the front door wiring (with sail tweeter) is supposed to look like?? That's what would really help

how are they set up tho? is it like a component where u got a crossover and one speaker for the "lows" and one for the highs?

i'll try to remember to pull off tweeter and see tonight. i still have my stock tweeter in there so the wiring, although cut, should be right.

Besically, it looks like someone took the ONLY speaker wire and elec taped it together with the one coming out of the 6x9. The tweeter ends in a elec tape and was just chilling behind the door panel. How would I fix this?

i'll pull the tweeter off tonight and take a pic as i said. cant do so now. i'm at work, and cant just get up and go take pics of my car. nor do i have my camera, so it doesnt really matter anyways.

wat abt the rest of it? are the 4x6s and tweets hooked up together or with completly seperate wires

seeing as though i see no crossover on the tweeter, they have to be seperate wires. note how i dont have a big red wire coming up from anywhere. someone went in his doors and chopped the sh*t outta wires.

So..... I'm gonna either have to fish around and find the wires, or run new ones?
Also, I have a Haynes, but I have trouble reading wiring diagrams sometimes. I haven't looked at it yet, truth to tell, but any pointers on that?

you can fish around and try to figure out whatever hack job the guy before you did. or you can run new ones. or, and this is my favorite option, you can buy a low power 4-channel amp, bypass the whole monsoon, and get much better SQ then you had before.
