Parting Out: Low Mileage RK Sport Grand Am GT - 2003
I am selling off parts from my four door 2003 Grand Am GT with SC/T hood and full RK kit with a brand new paint job. The car is completely customized inside and out. The interior is all black with leather seats and blue accents (it's about 95% completely done). Once parted I will be selling the car.
Upgrades and modifications include a SLP exhaust with dual black chrome tips, custom cold air intake with K&N filter, auto trans interceptor, TPS sensor enhancer, 18" wheels with 235 tires (low miles), shaved antenna, full RK sport kit with wing and blue grilles, seven color LED underbody kit, Alpine MP3 player head unit, 650.4 Kicker amplifier w/ custom amp mount for trunk, JL 12W3v2 sub w/ custom box, Polk Audio DB5250 front component speakers, RK Sport black taillights, clear corner black headlights, and reverse glow gauges. The paint job was done in October and the car has only been driven a couple hundred miles since then and garaged the entire time. The car is black, four door, sunroof, power everything. The car was purchased in January 2003 with 24 miles on it. It currently has under 30,000.... I think it's around 28K actually. The car has been babied and well taken care of. The reason I am thinking about selling it is because I hardly get to drive it now that I work in San Francisco and take the commuter train in and out of the city. On the weekend we drive my husband's truck a lot and I have my Porsche and motorocycle. I am keeping the Porsche because it's good on gas and in really good shape for it's age and rare to find in such good condition. The car has never been in an accident and is in good condition. Please let me know if you're interested. Last edited by highwayprowlerz; 06-04-2007 at 08:59 AM. |

There are pictures all over this website of my car. E-mail or PM me if you might be interested.
Things I might be willing to part if I cannot sell the car as is (does not include shipping unless noted): >Alpine MP3 Head Unit - $125 ($175 new - only 6 months old - still under warranty with Best Buy) - this has an iPod connector on it > Kicker 650.4 Amplifier - $200 ($250 new - only 6 months old - also under warranty) > Custom Cold Air Intake w/ K&N cone filter - $80 shipped (or $50 + your stock GT intake) > Polk Audio DB5250 Component Speakers - $100 ($150 new - only 6 months old) > Clear Corner Headlights - $100 + stock headlights (they have to be in good shape - no fogginess on the lens) or $170 without stockers in exchange - only 6 months old > RK Sport Black taillights - $175 without stockers in exchange or $100 + stockers (GT only please) > TPS Enhancer - $50 shipped ($85 new) - 2 years old > AutoTrans Interceptor - $75 shipped ($150 new) - 2 years old > 7 Color LED underbody kit - $60 shipped ($100 new) - 1 year old > JL 12w3v2 sub - $95 shipped ($85 used off eBay) - about 1 year old > Reverse glow gauges (totaly awesome - blue or green glow) - $30 shipped ($50 new - 6 months old) > Custom GA sub box for trunk - $50 (this is heavy and will be expensive to ship) > Custom GA amp mount for trunk - $35 (this is also heavy and will be expensive to ship) > 18" Exel silver wheels w/ tires - $400 + stockers (only interested in the chrometech wheels that came on the new GTs) - local sale only Last edited by highwayprowlerz; 06-04-2007 at 09:02 AM. |

I seen in a thread you started a while back you have an LED third brake light.
Would you be willing to part with that? Edit: Sorry I didn't read the bottom of the post..I'll leave the question just in case though.

bryanwhitegt - I do, but it's a homemade one. I will sell it but I need a stocker in exchange if you could do that. It's LED brake in the middle and the outer two bulbs are signals for the corresponding sides.
elderas - I am not selling any body parts cardude - I am not sure, it's odd shaped because it's meant to fit in the corner of the trunk just behind the taillight. I can get an estimate for you. |

I will have a more definite decision about parting the car for sure after my husband and I talk tonight. I really don't want to part with the car at all, I love my car. But I never get a chance to drive it and it just doesn't make sense to keep it. We are considering trading the car for a Honda Shadow so we both have a motorcycle then using the difference of the cash to pay down our credit card and fix the little stuff that needs to be done on the Porsche. I'll keep you all updated.

Is the underblody kit the blaze kit from oznium? It says 1 year old but how good of shape is it in, Dibs on that, and clear corner headlights, I will be able to exchange for mine, they are in perfect shape.
Edit : Ooo, and we live kinda close to each other, maybe meet me 1/2 way IF you do infact part these items out? (I'm like 2 1/2 hours away from San Fran.) Last edited by Jake; 05-14-2007 at 05:29 PM. |

As far as the headlights go I live in Pittsburg, about 50 miles east of San Francisco. I would be willing to meet up somewhere in the middle, yes if you throw in an extra $15 for some gas expenses that would be nice too. Let me know. I have decided that I am definitely going to part the car and return it to stock as much as possible. |
