Nice, space saving install. Your interior needs to be spiced up a bit IMO. I'm getting a 'blah' vibe from all the gray ya know.

what did u do to get the 6.5s in?

edit: those rear seats have no padding in them becuase of the sub in them...even tho its a shallow sub. and since the back seat isnt designed to be a box, the sub prolly wont sound its best. but i havent heard it.

rear seats have 2 inch foam in them and are just fine to lean back on...the box is made slightly larger then spec for the sub...amp air flow is fine and has never gone into protection mode...i have seen worse setups for amps that have no airflow on these forums....i guess i should have waited to post finaly pics...but you will see when its done how it looks like. :-)

I believe he cut into the back of the seat leaving 2 inches of foam. Basically he just redesigned the seat to make a box and amp rack. It still has back support from the wood. Since that is a pioneer slim line woofer it doesn't require a big box to sound good. Not a bad idea you just have to finish it now.

I really like the speaker setup. The only thing that I would have differently would be, that I wouldn't have just chopped up the carpet, I would have cut it at the bottom and pull it up, fuse the split seat into 1, install 2 speakers and put the amp in the spare tire area and install some fans. With that everything would be hidden and clean.
