Interesting, its not on any car sites anymore. At least, not that I can find.
Besides, its not listed for the 3.4, though I think I read correctly, that it can be used with the 3.4?

Yeah, unless im retarded and messing something up.
I put in 2002, Grand Am, and go to Exhaust Systems... and just the Borla pops up.

Edit, found one site that sells the Exhaust Still, They also have a header for the 3.4 Liter, but says that the headers also fit the 2.2.... so how can that be?

Don't see how it can be worse then stock, and the local shop I trust does not want to waste there time doing an exhaust.
And I really cant justify 800 dollars for a Boral. So, this seems like a good compromise. Its going to rust in a few years, but its 300 dollars. I can replace it almost 3 times in 10 years, and still equal the cost of the Borla.
Though everyone seems to agree, replace the resonator.

hm, that's a lazy shop. it wouldn't take them that much time to mock up a 2.5" catback exhaust with either a magnaflow or flowmaster muffler...besides, they should be in it for the money, not for their time.

that aside, to my knowledge i don't thinkthere is an exhaust out by pacesetter for the 3.4, you may be able to hook up their exhaust for the 2.2 but don't expect any spectacular gains as opposed to something custom..might as well stay stock and save the money instead of going to the extra trouble to get minimal gains at best.

also if you search around online you can find that borla dropped down to ~$600, and every once in awhile an SLP goes for sale on here for quite low prices.

Mine sounds good and my mechanic said it's built good, though he has a Pontiac GTO which I'm totally jealous of.

Yeah, I got recommended to go to another local shop, they do custom jobs all the time. I think its just the shop I went too, was a little too old school. If I had brought my Mustang, they probably woulda done it in a heart beat.
Oh well, what can you do?

Here's a video clip of the Pacesetter cat-back I had installed on my car today.

Still undecided as to whether or not I like it, kinda sounds ricey at the higher rpm's.

Shop I went to first was "Mad Hatter Muffler and Brakes", since they have a good rep. No go there.
I hear Munroe Muffler loves cranking out custom exhausts, cause its quick and easy money. I don't want a flowmaster though, im going to try and go with a Magnaflow. I work Retail, so im working all week, so ill be going to the shops hopefully saturday.
Ill let you know.

And Jay, i see what you mean about the sound, but I think thats less the Exhaust and more the car. Do you have a four or the six? And the Exhaust LOOKS good, I like that alot.
