My new 03 Gt! - Page 2

Well tomorrow I am going to get my resonator cut off. I debadged it after work today. Next saturday I am getting tint, The guy charged me 135 for the back section of my Se (5 windows) And now tried to tell me 165 for my Gt, im like

? And told him about the previous price so he said he would do the back section in 5% tint for 100 bucks

I will get the front section done at a later time. I have someone who wants my Se for $3000 So I have to take off the rims and rip out the stereo tonight, as much as I hate to because that was just intalled 2 months ago >_< and its highly custom and gonna be a pain in the @SS to take out. So that said, Hopefully the rims will go on either tonight, or tomorrow night

I took off both Grand Am, and GT badges off the trunk. I want to put the GT part back on, but under the keyhole what would be the best thing to use to stick it back on? I have double sided foam stuff, it isnt tape, its like a foam, its pretty sticky and not to thick, would that work ya think?

Did that on paint, I think it will look good.

It actually looks pretty nice there IMO. When I moved my GT badges my mom's b/f gave me this double sided tape stuff that his shop used to put badges on. It was sort of like a sheet..you stick the badge on one side, carve out the GT then peel off the other side and place it on the car. Where it can be bought, I have no clue. hah

You know what, ive thought about getting rid of my beat up ol 2000 GAGT and buying a brand new one (well obviously not brand new). I really love the car, its just mine isnt as perfect as i want. I always get jealous when guys buy new GAGT's...especially 2dr's!

Im gonna put the badge on the trunk tonight, I think it will look pretty good. I just got back from the muffler shop, I got my resonator removed, I think 40 bucks for 15 minutes and a 12 inch pipe is a little bit much but meh, I like it. It changed the tone a lot at low RPM's and only a tad at higher RPM's.

I put it in the center and am undecided, it looks ok, but that black, and the black of the taillights doesnt match so I may take it off.

I'm diggin up this thread to ask a question, I was supposed to buy highwayprowlerz headlights this saturday, I thought all along they were all clear, come to find out I made a mistake they are black with clear corner. Most people would jump at it saying get black! But my wheels are chrome, but have tinted tails. And 5% tint all the way around, Should I get black with clear corners or hold out and get some all clear ones in a little while. Any suggestions plz!

Black headlights/tails/tint, white car, should get white or black wheels but chrome kinda is like white friendly...ide say keep the blacks...how much u pay for em?

I havent BOUGHT them yet, am debating whether or not to now. It seems the guy on customgrandam.com is no longer seling clear headlights, nor is ebay! So Bryan... it looks like I may not even be able to get clear ones now >_<. They were 220 or something new, black are like 215 new, i got an opportuinty now to get black/clear corner ones off her for 100+exchange for my stockers, idk wat to do >_<

get the black ones, it will compliment the tails and tint nicely. Chrome is kinda a "universal" thing, flows with any color

Kinda thinkin the same thing.... Just still not 100% sure on them though with chrome rims, but like Bryan said via Pm, will still be better then stock, and that orange corner just totally kills the look of the car.
