well its a big enough cap that i wont drain all the way wen the bass hits

It is not the draining of the cap though, that is the problem.

It is the power huge cap recharging, that could be hard on the car's electrical system; if the car's electrical system is weak to begin with.

Remember you cannot just create energy, it has to come from somewhere.

PS: Now if the cap is always recharged & ready to go. That is a different story.
But if you are relying on the cap to provide you power, it just isn't going to happen. The cap will just always be recharging, & be low on power (not a good thing for a cap).

Edit: Have a read: Dimming lights/low voltage question's....

right right, im pretty sure i'll never be running the cap down. a buddy of mine has the same EXACT subs and SAME cap and he says it fixed everything. plus i think my charging system is ok right now; like not on the way out

the only real difference could be that he's got a deep cell and i dont. i but still, if your amp takes more power than your alternator gives out, it will hit your battery no matter what
