My motor is the 3.4 6...I agree it does LOOK good, though I plan on peeling those yellow stripes off the tips, I heard they are just tape.

he has asserted his dominance over competing males with the loud masculine sound form his exaust system, Females searching for a potential mate will be driven away by weaker exaust systems and attracted to his SLP.

Not going in to have an exhaust put on, going to drive around talking to muffler shops. As a sales person, I hate when people call for prices. Its the same as saying "I dont give a **** about your time, or take any of this seriously." And I think that whoever you call and talk too, will treat it that way. So, I am just going to drive and see what works, and whos shop I get a good feel for. Wont get it installed till i get some money again (Viper just took a huge chunk out of my bank account) and get my Cold Air Intake on.

Thats the way I usually have to do it. Oh wait its the other way around. I don't like to go shopping with my wife. There's just something about going from store to store and standing around while she tries on things. I guess its the same with girls.

Ok i am about to purchase this finally. A question for those that purchased already. How is the muffler compared to flowmaster in terms of sound. Also does the muffler appear to be descent quality?

I dont own one, but i did see and hear one in person. The sound is kind of raspy. Not Honda civic fart cannon bad, but not a nice borla or something like that. It looked kind of cheap, being painted, but Im sure youll be fine if you keep an eye on it. If the paint really started chipping, you could just pull it and give it another coat. For the price, you get what you pay for, but its tough to beat for that kind of money.

Edit, just noticed your from vt, about an hour north of me.

nice to see someone in the area with the same interest in cars. i had ss/slp/flowmaster combo on my last car and will most likely be selling the muffler from the kit and getting another 80 series as it sounds best to me.

good plan. I actually just saw/heard the monza on a 6 cyl fiero at the NSRA nationals up in Burlington. Happen to catch that? 1600+ hot rods. Awesome show.

I know what it sounds like and dont really care for it. i prefer chambered mufflers over straight throughs/ turbos.

would this system be good if you scrapped the muffler and got a nice 80 series? after all the pace setter muffler makes it raspy right? thep iping is good for 2.5 correct? may rust through after a couple years?

I guess it was 245 actually :|

Innerauto.com

their customer service are fricken morons.
I talked with a guy, and he said it's in stock and will ship out in 24 hours.
I ordered it on 1/28
It didn't ship until 2/7
I'm supposed to get it on 2/13 now.

Sub Total: $245.10
Shipping: $18.61
Handling: $4.47
Tax: $0.00
Core: $0.00
Total: $268.18

Anytime I called to check the status of my order, all they would tell me is that it's being "processed", then say that's all they can tell me at this time. I was like well what the **** does that mean? Does that mean it's shipped or not? Sorry sir, but I don't have that information available to me. Well who does? Ohh **** you.
I'm just cranky because I need it for the working order of my car.
:\
and they said it will ship in 24 hours. and it obviously didn't.
I guess we'll see what kind of shape it's in when it gets here.

*edit*
I'm honestly hoping that they mixed up the pacesetter exhaust, and mailed me a Borla instead.
Hey, I can hope.. right? ;D
