Updated schedule

The GAP '07 team has undergone much stress with tracks, locations and times to bring you a new updated schedule/location for GAP '07.
We have been working with Milzy Motorsports to set up a track date for you. We can line up a dyno as well, and he offered to tune cars there for $75, and dynotune then for $125 for the first hour. This is a rough sketch of the schedule for us to work off of. We need as many people who are coming to vote in this as possible in order to further secure the events scheduled.
We need ~20 people to pay for the $60/100 half/hour mobile-dyno cost in order for them to bring it from Columbus. The track we are looking at is open on July 27th for Test n Tune, which would make the perfect opening event. We would all meet at that track (about an hour and change away from Sandusky) on friday, then after all the racing/tuning/dynoing, we would cruise up to Sandusky to our hotel and eat/sleep/party or whatever. Saturday would be Cedar Point day, with that taking up the entire day, then all going out to a big dinner somewhere. Then partying/sleeping etc. Sunday would be our BBQ/ carshow, and goodbye for people to leave.
We are unsure of the track information and about the dyno, but i have posted what i have been told.
PLEASE VOTE if you plan on coming so we can set up the costs, possible group rates at Cedar Point, hotel reservations, and the track/dyno.
Thanks,
GAP '07 Team

Just curious for those of us looking at tunes, this is probably a question Mark should answer, but what is his preferred payment? Cash only?

I will be bringing my wireless credit card machine with me to the event. Cash will also be accepted.

Thanks mark, I know I'm not the only one that hates carrying around large ammounts of cash.

Edit: I'm a moron, I thought it was Mark with MP Racing not Mike w/ Milzy that was doing the tunes...doh!

I'm doing everything in my power to be able to make it to this event, even though it is a bajillion miles away.

Besides the dyno tunes, would there be a chance to pull of some "bragging rights" pulls to see how has the bigger schlong? Count me in to jump on the dyno.

Looks like I can't make it.

I just got approve for time-off from July 15-25, '07.
& can't move it to the new weekend of July 27-29, '07.
(My boss has booked time off for that weekend, & won't let me take that weekend also.)

Hopefully, I can still hit up Chicago for Friday, July 20, '07 for Stevie B in Chicago on Friday night, July 20, '07

To the folks that make it to GAP '07: Have a good time & drive home safe

Where have those two been? That would be quite a scene at the drag strip.

Milzy is working with us to get a mobile dyno, but we need to meet the quota in order for them to bring it.

Alright guys, I talked to the guys with the mobile dyno, and they said they need $1750 worth of business lined up to make the trip worthwhile. He also said that his rates on the road are actually higher on these roadtrips than $65 bucks ... more like $80. This gets you 3 pulls with a wideband. I'll talk to him and find out how much it'd be hourly for tuning, or maybe just for a couple 4 or 5 pull sessions.

Now as far as my tuning, I'll be doing my typical $100 pcm's for $75 at the event. The $125 for dyno-tuning will include the pcm tune, for any dynotuning up to an hour. After the first hour, I'll do it for $50/hr after that, but I don't think we'll have anyone on the dyno that long.

I pay $30 here at home, but it's because it's here at home and we know the dyno owners. $80 is a fair price for 3 pulls on the wideband.

Schweppe's around.. He's had a crazy winter and springtime for him.. He's been preoccupied with work and bringing his son into the world.
