I didnt get to hit the track up tonight due to some injuries to me but I might hit it up on friday for some heads up racing at our track.

Anyways I know that I can feel from around 2500-5500 the car pulls much much much better then when I had the WAI. Plus I can now chirp the tires a little bit where as I couldnt previously. I have Falken ST 115s and they grip like crazy. Even in the rain its rather hard to get them to spin.

yea i had to screw the clamp down all the way. im thinking of getting some stainless steel 3.5 inch pipe from autozone and re placing the rubber intake. it looks pretty restrictive.

no a new stainless steel pipe would be less restrictive compared to the the stock rubber one.

Dude, small things like intakes are not going to give you anything noticable on a grand am regardless of whatelse you have. Your not going to feel any difference. Maybe eventually if you were heavily modified, it might shave a few tenths of a second off your 1/4 mile time... but realistically, your not going to see anything. Its all about the sound you want, a sucking sound under the hood, or exhaust out the rear...

Regardless... the tubing is going to make even less of a difference than the filter itself.

this is true the filter is more important than replacing that ribbed rubber piece but replacing it is still important... just ask pyro....

Exactly my point...

lvemy3100, Im not saying I dont belive you, but for the average driver, they arent going to notice that much of a difference when driving to school or work, its not like your adding 50hp or something to the car.
