OT- In need of Tips or Full System

I never noticed that until you just mentioned it. So if you dont buy a new muffler and just want the tips, how would they go about changing the stock muffler on the drivers side? Would they weld the pipes together or something..?

makes me think a new muffler will solve this headache..
