nice car, not a sweet deal though. $20.5-21k at the most.

and the chrome rims would have to go ASAP.

A4 is a better car than the M6...trust me

Much smoother driveline, faster, power is there when you need it without having to shift. It allows you the joy of having all that power...and ENJOYING HOW GREAT the interior comfort/styling/and ride is.

hm, I guess now that I think about it, I have never been in an A4. I think my dad brought home a purple one once, but out of like... the 10 that have gone through our garage, all have been manuals. Good to know/consider.

I'm gonna have to disagree, I've ridden in both the autotragic and M6, and the M6 is so much more fun to drive. Not to mention the $1300 you save on gas-guzzler tax.

It's $290 more...and only $180 if you're GMS. The M6 has an option price, the A4 doesn't, but you do have to pay that tax.

A4 is also .2 to .4 seconds faster.

Well, the M6 may be more "fun" in terms of rowing gears or launches. But the A4 is the better of the two. Feels alot more refined and Bob's right, you can actually enjoy the interior and take it easy if need be. Otherwise, it's a straight shot out of the hole when you launch. I drove my buddy's 06 with the SAP Kit and it was really fun to drive, sounded good with the optional Magnaflow muffler.

Thanks Tom, I wasn't sure what happened.

Guys, its not worth arguing. It's all good. My friend is watchin the thread to see if any interest ensues so let's do this for him.

Any MI guys too, Mark is holding a fundraiser on June 16th at Baker's of Milford for Breast Cancer. Shortly after I met him last August, his mom died of breast cancer and he's been having an extremely hard time dealing with it so show up and support the cause!

I told you this car would never sell at that price. Way too high, even with the SC.

I'm half tempted to say something on ls1gto .... but WTF, seller would just get butthurt and the idiots would chime in saying I was wrong.

....but of course I am, that's why it's still sitting and rotting while he bumps the thread 5,000 times. You'd think people would take a hint on their price.

From a performance aspect, it's really not that bad though.

$23k for a car that does high 11's? Or $50k+$15k lingenfelter package on a LS2 Vette that runs mid 12's? Just speaking in terms of straight line power, of course the Vette would be a more fun car to drive in general. An Evo costs $29k+ and with a couple changes can run 11's. Our Grand Am's brand new cost $23k and they had 175 (supposedly) hp.

Like I said a month ago if he dropped it to 21k thats more reasonable and will probably sell...its been for sale since march obviously no one is going to pay that much for it I can't believe no one on that board said its too much unless the mods there are nazi's and don't allow those comments

From a performance perspective?? Yeah, that's wonderful and all...but guess what, in reality the real world sale price is $19k-20k tops. On newer cars with many on the used lots, mods mean nothing.

Now, like my RX7, Supra, 300ZX, etc. you can expect a bit for mods, but even then people don't give you much.

Is this car still for sale? Which state is it in? I am looking at getting a GTO imported into Canada and the price is reasonable
