On what page of the Kicker manual is that stated on?
I have the same subs as you and I didn't find anything like that in the manual.

I have the same ones too and couldn't find anything in there about a 2 week period. Can't say I read every single word though..

If he bought them from crutchfield, it came with this little info guide on subwoofers that talks about a 2 week break in period I believe.

Well Kicker never replied my e-mail so I just called them. I asked the guy at tech support if any of the Kicker subs need a break-in period and he simply said "no".

It's been about a week since I got my Kicker CVR's. I am planning on being easy on them for another week or so. I think it can only help. Plus I want these subs to last as long as my car.

I have a single 15" JBL w15GTi... after a few weeks of playing it, it got quite a bit louder just from loosening up. I'd say be relatively careful at first while they break in, then you can go all out
