Finally, custom paint is finished. w/ kit

here it is, my 1999 grand am se w/ the show off 3 body kit. paintjob done by me and my uncle, and all seamless done by me w/ some fiberglass work and some bondo. body kit installed in my driveway. took 2 months.

I think you picked the worst kit made for the GA,, and it looks really goofy with the paintjob.


However, I do think the paintjob is pretty cool by itself.... I just would not have put it on that car.

It looks kinda sick! Not a route I would go but I kinda dig it.

Suggestions: Loose the rims go BIGGER, drop it, and do something with the exhaust it looks like a hondas take on dual canadian tire exhaust.

Good work nonetheless.

i think the paint job is sweet, but with that kit you got to throw some bigger rims to compensate for the crazy body outlines. but looks like u guys can paint.

Sorry, I just hate that kit...the paint itself looks good but I dont know if I would have chose the scheme you did...but props for the DIY.

edit: why didnt you fill in the doors if you did all that other work?

The paint is unique, very different from any of the other custom stuff ive seen on any GAGTs. I really dont like that kit at all though.

I really don't like all the vent/hole things it has all over. It's not terrible IMO though.
