what mark said has been said many times on here..it just seems people never catch on, when you ask for opinions you get BOTH good and bad...and when you go over the top, expect more bad.

I'm pretty sure in Lethal Weapon 4 they didn't have a SC'ed GA and body kit and all that good stuff. What he is saying is that they were just driving it which brought attention to the car, and in turn everyone went out and bought it. Which is true, and I think besides the Civic, I think the GA was one of the largest selling cars.

there would be more parts if there were more demand from those actually willing AND able to spend the money... i can think of 3 threads off the top of my head in which vendors were gauging interest in new products but the lack of positive response resulted in the thread dying or the vendor declaring they were no longer interested in making such parts for this platform...
in any case I am now WAY off topic and will shut up now...

The biggest issue I have with the kit is the rear valance. The large area where it has the mesh grill is a bit too much to me. The paint job is very unique and I'm digging the colors, especially since I like blue and I'm thinking of adding to the rear portions of my SC/T kit when I get home to put it on. Personally, if Iwasn't able to get the SC/T kit, I more than likely would have chose to go with the SOS kit. It has the same front and side skirts as yours, but a different rear. Here is a pic of it. Anyways. Don't take anything that we say personally. We razz the hell out of each other and sometimes piss each other off, but I haven't seen any other GA site like this one where we can just talk bull**** about almost anything. The folks on here have alot of experience with mods and I respect them for that since I am a newbie too for the most part. Once again, damn good job on the painting.

well, now that ive gotten some sleep im taking the constructive criticism to point. this wasnt supposed to be my american muscle car...camaro is coming soon. it was supposed to be a project car of mine to develop my skills.
im a fan of vents, but not big wings or huge ricer tips. i was just soo surprised that out of 15 people, only 1 said "good job" kinda sucked after alot of hours of work. as for tailights and headlights, wat r some good prices for some that would look good on this car??? got any links? cuz im clueless in that area. as for lowering what can i buy to lower it about an inch? |

Ebay would have slightly cheaper prices. PFYC and CustomGrandAm would have some others.

I dont think anybody is hating on your work, they just dont like the style body kit you chose. The work you did looks really good, just some dont like the body kit and others dont like the design of the paint scheme.

definately go for the TYC tails, found on ebay the cheapest. they are by far the most attractive. i would either stick with the OEM headlights or go with the chrome w/ clear reflector, also found on ebay for cheap.

Get the chrome TYC's, pull off the lenses, tape up the brake lenses, paint to match the blue at the back of the car. I think it would look VERY good w/ your theme. IMO anyway.

Branden-
No need to get worked up. The paint is cool, it's just the kit that doesn't work with the car well. Ripping on other peoples cars is NOT the way to defend yourself. Many people choose to focus on other things besides body work, and for a lot of people, this is the car they have to drive to work daily and haul their family around- not really the perfect situation to have a body kit. I personally would love to do some body work to my car, but I am not able to have my car parked for more than one day- and plus, we live in Minnesota. The winters kill cars. I am interested in seeing it in person, however. I live just outside of Minnetonka.... so if you're ever out in my area of the woods at all, I'd be game for just meeting up for a second to check out the paint.
