1900 lbs with a 90 inch wheelbase>2800 lbs with a 95 inch wheelbase...no matter which way you slice it.

There is a difference between great handling sports car and a go kart.

C&D did porsche caymen vs lotus elise and they said that the porsche won in the cornering, while the lotus had it in acceleration. i would get a porsche just because i can fit a briefcase in it if i had to get to work in a hurry

Yeah, my dad works at a place now that sells lotus and morgans. They are amazing cars for sure. Far too small and unpractical for me, but the light weight, design, and construction of the elise gives it some amazing potential.

And yes Bob, we all know what the rx7 was designed for. The elise was designed for the same thing though and it's lighter, newer, and more advanced in design. The rx7 is more than a decade old. They are both good cars though, so put the internet penis away already.

i know this may sound strange on a car forum...

but who cares which car is better than what? you have what a rotary engine or the ford probe engine in later mazdas going against something that you can flick and have it tip over?

HP does have a lot to do with a car, but in all honesty, who really cares?

Daily drivers they aren't, but a thrilling ride for someone who loves high performance cars, yes indeed.

Right now, anything would be nicer to ride in than this 0-60 in 60 seconds HMMWV that I have to roll in. I'd even go for adashi hauling ass down a **** paddy to get me back to base in a Hyndai in Korea at this moment.

Who's knocking? I was impressed that he didn't get us killed. I had to give him an extra tip just because of it.
