GA gets new shoes!

Got everything done yesterday....and yes folks these are another 5x115 wheel available for our cars. The Voxx Misano, and these are 18x8 and the centerbore is PERFECT for our hubs so no rings! They are wrapped in Falken FK-452s WHICH are a very sticky summer tire and maybe the best bang for the buck of any 'Ultra High Performance Tire' out there.

Also, check out the custom Pontiac centercaps....brushed aluminum vinyl background with a carbon fiber arrowhead and a black chrome outline. (Thanks so much to Grafxwerks on those)

Anyway, H&R springs soon AND the Ecotec in the garage goes into its new home and the 3400 becomes a conversation piece

Let me know what you think....

before i only thought that design would look good on smaller cars but i think it works. and the color matches the white well. and maybe its the lack of drop but i think 19's would have been perfect. looking forward to the eco swap.

Nice rims, and a nice start to an on going project.

Wheels look good, but don't look like anything special, IMO.

Inserts look good on the centercaps, though.

Not bad. Better taste than most of the rims people have been putting on lately. Now its time to drop it like its hot. But you knew that already

The H&R's will really allow it to sit nicely and will actually make the rims look larger... I think..partly because they will allow the wheel to fill the wheel well.

I wanted to go with something simple that didn't scream "I added these"...the centercaps were my attempt to tie it in and give it the stock flow. And I think they fit the attitude of the car, sporty and agressive a tiny bit of flash but not much. I still think the GAGTs should have more of a sport wheel than say a blingy one.

All in all I would have done a different wheel but seeing as how she sees autocross duties, the 5x115 was the needed fitment route to go and as you all know, our choices are limited.

Thanks for the compliments guys..

H&Rs were great. Probably one of the best mods I had done to my GA. All this talk about em today had me looking up for Pedders for the GTO.

Nice...I was looking at a similar set and powdercoating the spokes.

Lookin' good.

I like them, but for some reason they remind me of the SRT-4 rims

I like them, look great. White GT's look great I concure with the rest, drop it, I have Intrax on my white GT Coupe. I think it's a good enough drop, and ride comfort is great too.

Where'd you buy them (rims)?

I guess im the out cast......... not really feeing them.
Perhaps the drop would set it off better.

I ended up getting them through Discount Tire....along with the Falkens.

Not too shabby, I think it would be awesome if the wheels were white to match the paint, but they look fairly close as is.

Its funny cause the finish looks different in person....and because it was a partly overcast day, you cant really see but they are a mirror polished lip.
