Its part of the Variable Intake runner system. There's a valve in the intake which opens and closes during driving to change the path of airflow through the intake. This will increase torque at low RPM and when the valve opens at higher RPM it allows more airflow, increasing HP.

Similar effects of VVT... which that motor also has. Those 3.9s are ballsy little motors. It'd really surprise you but they feel as strong as (if not slightly stronger) than a stock L67.

Well as a whole I realy like the car. It has a ton of torque (or so it feels) and I have suprised a few people who thought I was a easy pass on the expressway. The car handles pretty well. I wish it was a little more stiff. As of right now there is only one set of lowering springs for my car and I dont even know the company. I cant wait to be able to get all the little addons for HP when they come out. I think these cars have a lot of potential...

The car is nice. Im not sure i like the cloth inserts on leather interior....
The malibu, impala, cobalt ect, i KINDA like but they arent aggresive enough. The body style is just so blah, and even the SS kits are just blah..your front end looks ok but the sides and rear are basically stock. SuperSport should be a bit sportier i think...

The GA doesnt look any more agressive than any of the SS (maybe the Impala). Sorry guys I did have have a GA at one point and the malibu SS is better in every way. I could have bought another GA this time it could have been the SCT. When I test drove the malibu it was no contest. I never thought about getting a malibu untill I drove this one. (your front end looks ok but the sides and rear are basically stock) Take a look at the different models and tell me they look "Basicly stock". Way different cars. You mught have a different opinion if you drove one.

Thank you. Well I have already put on a CAI, exhaust, and audio system. I have a apointment this week to get the windows tinted and I have lowering springs on the way. I have a JVC double din touch schreen but I am having a hard time finding a mounting kit. That will be it for a while. I will post pics as I go. Anyone in the area need a nice pioneer radio.
