Question good turbo package?

found this package talking to a friend, and it seems too good to be true, considering all the other kits i have found have been at least 1k more.

Dude, you better start searching, or your gonna get flamed. There are a million threads on turbo systems, and about half of that is on this one. SEARCH!

yea but it seems that maybe now they worked out the "issues" they were having with the old setup.

they also have an alky system listed in the parts list now.

$2,995 seems like a fair price for what you get

Yeah, but can you actually get it now? They were going to have a kit before an only made a few of them because they couldn't work out they're issues. Then they sold just the manifolds that they had made already. Did they actually make more kits or is that just the old page is the question? I wonder if they're customer service got any better yet either. If the answer to all those are yes, then more power to 'em and yeah it seems like a good deal.

I'm leaning towards saying this is the old one though. Look at the bottom of the page and you'll see they are saying they offer a computer upgrade from DHP. That is part of the problem they had before was working out a deal with DHP and getting a pcm tuned for boost. It says it's just a v1.0 pcm though. Nothing about tuning for bigger injectors and more fuel or anything.

I think the price is ok because, that setup comes with every **** you will need and you will not need to pay someone to make some headers because you will get some pretty nice ones in that kit.

but for tuning wise U should get a Hot or a DH and tune it you're self or pay some one to do it

I talked to a guy on the phone about the kit and he said with the Alky injection kit there was NO detonation at all running 9 lbs of boost. Also didn't upgrade injectors or anything, just bumped up the fuel pressure. They got very good results as you can see on the website. He told me they put the kit on 3 cars. I like all of it except the injectors should be included and they need to fix the PCM someway. If they could get that PCM tuned to where they would be able to get it running without the alky injection that would be a pretty sound kit.

I'm not sure... it says its an introductory special and the Alky kit is in there, but when I talked to the guy about it he made it seem like it was still being worked on.

If that is the price for the new kit, its a damn good deal for an almost complete kit. Proper tuning and larger injectors would make it complete.

That is a fair deal if the thing runs alright without injectors. Injectors can cost $300+ for a dirt cheap set.

It won't. The problem is to run any decent amount of boost on these cars you need injectors and tuning because the stock injectors get maxed out fairly quick.
