I priced them out at Jegs and they come out to $475.96 however they do add an $11.99 "handling" charge. Still one of the cheapest out there....we should email Shox.com to see if they will do a better price.

I need someone to just give me $1,000 so I can just get my suspension taken care of.

i just bought mine today off of Shox.com. the guy seemed nice, and he matched Summit's price and gave me free shipping. so $500 for all 4, with shipping. i'm happy with that.

I finally got my plenum back, so I drove the car for the first time with the KYB AGX/H&R combo. I'm quite pleased so far. Front and rear dampers set on position 2. Firm and controlled, but doesn't beat you up. And the stance.....

You have to love setting 4 when your just ripping around corners. But for most driving i keep it on 2 even sometimes 1 if going on a road trip.

How do you think the combo would be on a light track day or two?

to those who have installed these, what exactly comes with them? the only reason i'm asking is that i just tracked my order, and it said the box was 52 pounds. thats 13lbs a strut. are they that heavy, or do they come with some sort of hardware?

CHRIS

I'm sure they would be great. I've put about 4 full hours of track time on my car with Eibachs and KYB GR2's. AGX's would be even better. One of these days I'll be installing them on mine and testing them out.

Struts are kinda heavy anyway. They are heavy duty in metal thickness since they are a structural suspension piece (unlike regular coilovers) and they are full of all that oil. The shafts are pretty substantial too. No idea what else they come with though. Possibly nothing extra.

well i installed them friday. the ride is a ton better. right now i have them all on setting #2, and so far so good. i used my stock springs which were in good shape. i havent really beat the crap out of them yet, cause lets be honest, there a pain in the ass to do, and i'm going to wait till my allignment to really have some fun. not to mention i'd like to put about 500 miles on them before i do anything too crazy. i'd hate to be without a car for a week while KYB sends me one that i broke. so far so good!

I love the fact that better handling comes along with a better overall ride. In that regard, its a win-win situation.

Are you thinking of doing springs in the future? Even if you don't, the ride must feel more confident in the turns eh?

no springs in the future. thanks to my cat-back, my cat hangs a little lower then on most GA's. if i go over a bad speedbump now i can hear it hit. that and the fact that its a pain in the ass now to get my jack under the car makes me think it might not be a good idea. plus i do want to keep it looking stock as much as possible.

ride comfort is a lot better. i'm not bouncing down the road anymore after i hit some of the awful bumps around here. like i said before i havent really tried to abuse them. . . yet. i'm breaking them in first

ok last thing is for you guys who have installed them. how the hell do i figure out what setting the back struts are on? i think there on 2, but i really have no clue. anyone?

Theres a white line on your strut right below the numbers that you use to adjust the numbers to. If the installer put the struts on the wrong direction you may have to use your g/f's makeup mirror to see the line on the other side of the strut.
