He pops up in the midwest section from time to time so not sure what he's up to. He still has the truck as far as I know but other than that he's been quiet, must be working hard and getting his family life going.

Nope, no point up untill now since I drove it everyday and all the stuff up here is made for trucks. I smacked that thing on the ground once a day and I lost a lot of weight since I was no longer able to make it into McDonald's or Burger King's parking lots anymore.

i noticed you taped up the tails and mirrors...did you tape up the middle of the hood as that line in the middle looks way to straight.

but awesome job...i think my car looks like the that (though it's white so you can't tell as much)

Yes i taped the hood down the center, thats how i do all my 1/2 &1/2 shots. Its the best way to show before and afters.

I tape all trim and plastic when i know im gonna have to hit the paint hard with my rotary. It creates alot of heat when you get to 1500+rpm you can EASILY burn those items faster than you can blink.

Well yes it will, no question about it. What we did to this paint goes above and far beyond a claybarring.

Its all good man, once I can get back down there again you are more than welcome to keep it a while. I should just store it in your garage and let you go to town on it for a few months j/k I have it under storage insurance right now, the motor is apart and deciding what I should do next. aka ported top half or break it down to the heads too. What color did you use for your valve covers, I am going to do the UIM black with red 3400 and paint the valve covers the same silver color you have.

To be honnest i dont care what you do looks wise

The paint needs much more work, i want to work on it again, it would be best to leave it with me for a few weeks. It would be worth it for you, totaly free.

I will like to do it before winter but might have to wait till spring. There is a car show coming up on the 8th and 9th of September up this way, so you will have to give me some cards before then to get some more business for you.

What color code did you get for the valve covers? I would search but dial up here,

Hey Rand, thanks a ton man! I got tons of compliments on the paint and the car this weekend. I took Best Customized GM at the Super Chevy show and I am not sure how many cards you gave me but I have only 4 left and it wasn't kids and randoms taking them, it was people who had cars in the show.

I also put a for sale sign in the window too, just curious on what I would get for offers. I put down 6,000 or best offer, I got two offers for the 6k and someone that I told no to went up to 8,000 for the bucket.

You are awesome man, you are well worth the time and money!!!!!!!

Man thats AWSOME!!!

You comin to the fall MGM? If you are then you are more than welcome to stay at my place and if the weather is good we can run the PC and a fine finishing polish over the GA one more time and then seal it up with one of my acrylic sealants, it would be set for winter.

I really need to hit your hood with the PC at least 1 more time, it needs it still
The hood worry's me a bit, i hit it pretty freakin hard, im sure it needs another pass with the PC.
