Loud whine from TCE throttle body

Ok so i just installed the 62mm throttle body for 60v.com...yeah and i started my car and its making this LOUD whine...any idea what its from?

If it is a whine, then its not coming from the tb. If its a whistle, then its a vaccum leak.

I took it back off...everything is right....and is this normal? the little cut out on the back?

yea...i havent like opened it up yet....but what i have done,its nuts...the sucking is loud...i love it. well worth it and it looks sharp

yeah, mine makes a slight whistle too, but only in the mid throttle range, so I don't hear it all the time.

mine whines at startup too until it warms. I have the 3500 uim and adapter from the 60* store so it shouldnt be a gasket problem. I have checked everywhere for vacuum leaks and have found none.

It also might just be characteristic of having more air drawn into the engine. I know that with the CAI you can hear a slight whistle at idle, so it'd make sense to hear it louder with more airflow...
