What color turn signals do you plan on using?

i think blue or yellow turn signals would look hot against that color.

I cant have blue in the front. Instant ticket here. I just painted them today, so I havent really had the timet o play with them and see what color im going to use. I belive all the LEDs are going to be orange. The lights will be installed tomorrow im hoping..
I put them up to the car and it does look good. That orange reflector can come off. Its only a little strip that is clipped in. Could be painted to what ever color you wanted it to be. If you leave it out , you would have to fill 2 holes that are there to hold it.
The LED section comes out too. 1 screw and it comes out. These lights can be modded very easly. Everything comes apart. So if you like the projectors but not the corner, take them out. Just use the stock head light cover to cover it.

Now I know why they say not to use HID bulbs in there. The bulb housing for the projector is plastic. It would melt, but I did find a pair of Audi headlights and the projector is just about the same.. So I might make the work, ill know more tomorrow.

BTW way AJ see that box under the lights,,, you know what that is.............. will be shipping tomorrow,.......

btw, will orange turn signals show up against that paint?

As long as they flash, I dont care. it kinda hides the ricy look to it.

that's kinda why i mentioned the yellow..it wouldn't match the orange and stand out a bit..but it would still be close enough that it wouldn't be obnoxious. it will also closely mimic amber.

The reason for that is due to the projector being made for a h3 halogen bulb. The filament on the h3 is "--" while on an hid kit it will be a rebased ds2 wich the xenon arc is "|" The optics of the halogen projector wont work with the hid corretly causing flairs and hotspots in the light output. The only hid bulb that might work is a H3C, which is a small hid bulb made in the size/shape of a h3

Back on topic, paint looks good, how did you go about taking the lense off?

I was thinking the same thing boost but i wasnt sure. Now that you said it, im going to look into it.

Heat gun the sealant. Use a razor to cut once its soft. Then just pry it apart. Everithing that is there comes off. The corner section, the housing for the projector, everything.

Its a good start on a retro fit. Expensive for it but a decent start.

I just put then in to make sure everything works fine. I didnt put the lenz back over it yet. I just put them in and they still need to be adjusted.
