Honda Accord Coupe - 0-60MPH in 5.9!?

All right, R&T just road tested the 2008 Accord Coupe and wrung out a 5.9 0-60MPH time from the six speed car with the 268HP motor! What the hell is going on here, Accords are now getting really strong in the quarter... 14.6 1/4 outta the box. Some light mods and 13's could be had!!!!!! Some N20 and Heads and Headers, slicks - 12's???? IN AN ACCORD????!!!!!!!

R&T got the Aura to a 5.9 I think too....midsize cars are getting quick...then again they are needing to keep up with the new sport utes...Escalades have run 14.9 bone stock in the quarter!

It might just have a quick first and second gear the get it there... it might die in the quarter once it hits third... those are the numbers I'd like to see.

I think the coupe is a pretty decent car, the sedan looks like ass. It's a shame that while the Japanese continue to build fun, powerful FWD coupes the Americans kill the manual G6, retire the Stratus coupe, and never build the 2 door Fusion.

I thought I read that the G6 GXP coupe was running to 60mph in about 5.6 seconds. I may be off by a couple tenths, but I know it was under 6.

BTW...... anyone else notice how the new Accord sedan's rear end is a complete rip-off of the BMW 5 series? In fact, I saw a commercial for it a couple nights ago, and I honestly thought it was an ad for the BMW. Oh well, just Japans latest copycat of a German automaker I suppose. Whats sad about this, is that the 5-series rear is not the most flattering attribute of the car.

G6 is at 5.6???! I don't know if I believe that...

BMW has been copied by Honda for years IMO. Take a look at the Civic is very closely resembles the style of the 3 series, especially the style of the taillights/rear look.

But his Mustang is strictly for fellating men, so that doesn't matter. As long as he gets good mileage from his mouth muscles, that is all he cares.
