My dad's 1981 Corvette had a 350c.i. V8. Guess what it's HP was? 190. What does that have to do with the Accord's times besides showing the evoultion of the combustion engine and car market?

Way off base. An '87 and up 3rd gen L98 could do 14.5, and 93+ LT1 should be basement 14's or high 13's, a 98+ LS1 car is mid 13's without much trouble. And on the street I'd run my puny little 305 against a stick Accord any day, good luck running those numbers without the bite of a dragstrip.

Other than that, I'm impressed, thats pretty fast, it would make a good daily driver. And yes, it would rock my 305's world from a roll on the highway.

I think that reflects exactly what I said. These times are pretty widely varied, such as magazine times tend to be. I've spent enough time in the F-body community and at the track actually watching these cars run to know what these cars actually are capable of.
