EnVeE 02 hey everyone, I'm a newb!
if you have the car ill take the four trim rings for around the door handles.

Ill also take the charged airflow sensor(i think thats what its called) if its not damaged.

Are those mirrors electronic and are they in good shape? I can't really tell from the one picture. If they are then I'll offer $50 +shipping for them.

kinda bad but still good news......

The dealership I am buying this car from had the car leased out to a lady as I said before blah blah blah, and they have to write off whatever the difference of what its owed and what I pay.
Ex: car leased for $10,000 wrecked and I pay $1000, they have to write off that $9000 in whatever account. And they decided they didn't want to do that this month but will sell it to me in the first week of next month.
It sucks but is kinda good for me because I can now pay a few bills with my paycheck instead of it all going to the car. Ed, the guy I am talking to about the car said he will not solicate anymore bids and the bidding is complete, (I hope no one notices the car in the back and asks about it ) so untill next thursday, at the earliest, no car .~Grim

If you get it I would want two things off of it:

1. Turn signal module from steering column. (mine is toast-even after cleaning it.)

2. Trunk lid - Provided the white marks visible in the picture are not bad scratches in the paint, there is a key for the trunk, and the paint codes match.

I would want to be able to do a straight swap on the trunk lid, so it would have to be ready to go as is, and be less cost then repairing my damaged trunk lid.

I didn't notice any bad scratches. The white marks just appear to be dried mud. Why don't you just replace the lock and be able to use your key? That would be easier for because it still runs and I only get one jey with the car+a fob (yay) Here are the best pics of the trunk I got, I forgot to get a full shot of it

I know they are of the tails, but you can see a bit of it~Grim

I did notice on the last pic a white line and white blots to the left lower. The line is a reflection off ford/mercury behind it and the blots are from probably the dealership logo that was taken off? That is a guess!~Grim

yeah, That would be a good point if the problem was just a broken lock.

What happened is someone broke into my trunk by way of the cylinder... Literally ripped it out with a pry bar! The lock cylinder is completely gone, and the metal around it is bent up, and the trunk lid is bent a little because they pried the lid open to get it. they got $1600 worth of audio equipment and golf clubs

needless to say I felt a little violated.

The quotes I got on repairing the damage were well over $500, Hence the swapping idea, so long as the trunk lid is in decent shape.

...and, I would gladly pay $5 extra to cover the cost of making a copy of the key.

So, if you end up parting the car out that is what I would want.

Hey Grims, I dont need the mirrors, I see someone else made an offer on them so you can sell to them, I will still be taking the reverse light though, thanks.
