Yeah, they aren't too strict about stuff there as long as you don't cause any problems. I was entered in the car show but I ended up camping over on the racers side with Todd and Patt, even though I wasn't supposed to be there. This year I plan on racing though, as long as everything works with my schedule and I can make it anyway.

Well, yea... Something like "pit crew", but that is all. You just get a wristband. But you coulda bought that rather than spectator entry...

Maybe we'll get lucky and win the raffle for the press booth again Nice to sit in the A/C...

I was waiting for some of my parts to come in for the turbo system, and wasn't able to get the car done in time.

I've got it real close now, all I have left is a good portion of the wiring (have to wire the entire car), and then I have to install my polycarbonate rear glass and sunroof, and I'll be all set.

1/8"

Anything to save weight. This should be one light GA. I think over winter I may get some carbon fiber body panels to help lighten things up.

I'd piss my pants if Mike put as much effort into his 3400 Turbo as ZZP put in to their TTGT. Were probably talking $50k plus. Just my guestimate.

If it helps, a 14"x14"x3/8" piece of polycarbonate will run you over $70..so considering what he bought..price may not be a factor,

This reminds me, I still have to finish my indestructible laptop mount..haha

That zzp drag car has WELL over $50k into it. I bet they have come near or past the $100k mark. The initial cost may be close to $50k, but parts dont last that long when you make silly amounts of power, no matter wtf they are made of.

I'm trying real hard. Only thing that usually gets in the way is all the customers' cars I have to work on. It sucks sometimes having to push mine off, but that's my job.

I'm looking to get it out to the track before things start closing. Worst case, I think I'll take a road trip and go to the tracks that are open.

The ZZP TT car is pretty nasty. I don't have that much work into this one. I haven't added up exactly how much i have in it, but I know I don't have 50k in it. The car is a stock chassis grand am with a cage that ties into the wheelie bars, has custom coil overs, etc. It isn't a full tube chassis car like ZZP's. I can't afford to put like 10k+ just in the chassis work, so I'm just trying to make it as light as I can.
