Seat Conversion

Just wanted to post some pics on my g6 leather seat swap. I plan on making a write up sometime soon. It's completely bolt on with some metal work. If i wanted to i can swap the ga seat right back in. Right now i only have pictures of the passenger side took about 3 hours to do. Should have the driver in before the end of next week. I would have took more pics of the actual process but we kinda jumped into the hole situation. I'll post better pics tomorrow. Hope you enjoy!

Damn man you didn't even say anything about doing this I don't think. I really like 'em. They look comfier than the GA seats. Props to you again for another hot swap.

I wanna know what you do for work that you spend so much money on your car.

These look hot though, and yea the backseat should be interesting, but if the G6 back is anything like the GA back its basically a big coushin(sp) shoved into a lether(or ga case cloth) blanket and just squeezed into the back...

Is that passenger seat power? Or will the driver side be? and will it work?

Well these seats are out of a convertable so the back seats or more bucket style. I am planning on fabbing them in with a custom fiberglass mold holding my wiring for the amps and subs. But first i am going to finish the front seats.

Ya there 100% better then the oem ga seats with the looks and comfort.

Passenger seat is not power i used the slides from the ga seats for the g6 seat. Just fabbed them in using aircraft grade alluminium for safety. I do have heated seats now since the g6 seats come already with them installed. I just gotta figure out the wiring so they work. The drivers side is full power thats going to be the hardest seat to install since i am going to keep it full power.

Damn... those cars have some of the sickest potential of any car I have seen...I knew a guy had something gross like 800hp, and got to 60 in probably less than 3 seconds.

Your not stealing my thunder props to you. You shouldn't have to make a custom seat rail fyi. Just fab mounting brakets for the ga seat rails to bolt up.

No need to buy an extra set i just used the slides off my oem seat. I didn't even weld them just measured the alluminium to size cut drilled holes mounted old slides and wala i have g6 seat. I am sure it will be harder for most people to do since most don't have access to the tools and metal i have but shouldn't be impossible for anyone. I can even take my slides off the g6 seats and reinstall them on my OEM seats and everything would be the same as before. Pictures are gonna give you guys a good idea how this is done just wait for the how to

I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not that "flows" in the GA. Can you take shots from further back? The G6 seats are nice, just can't picture how it's going to look when completely done.
